Julian Luna was embraced in the year 706 by a powerful vampire named Archon.  He rose to power very quickly in a land that later came to be know as San Francisco, and took it upon himself to rule over the clanless vampires that dwelled there.  For a long time he acted as enforcer for the DiNerezza Clan, earning him a fearful title and a grudging respect.

Now modern day San Francisco is practically owned by him.  He has his claws in everything from the entertainment business to all the law and newspaper offices in the city and surrounding areas.  Though he no longer acts as ruler over the clanless vampires there, he still keeps them in line with his savagery.

He is intense, but controlled, capable of both great compassion and great savageness when it is called for.

He considers Canio one of his truest acquaintances, seeing as how they fought side-by-side in the vampire wars.  He trusts the man with his unlife, but they still remain rivals in everything, from business to women. Julian is always up to any challenge.

Coming to L.A., he first sought dalliances with such as Antonia De Lancret an old and good friend, and outcasts like the alluring Soraya vom Blut.  But, when Lili arrived in town, all his attention became focused on the deadly beauty.  More ... complications arose with the arrival of his long estranged wife, Countess Catherine.  It was a hectic year, to say the least.

His wife, Catherine, stands at his side as they move in New York, leaving behind a city rife with angst for the both of them.  They have lasted through Julian's infidelities with Lili, as well as several Wars. Catherine stood by him, making Julian wonder if she knew how good and pure she really was. Julian and his wife are polar opposites, Julian being a deadly Enforcer for the Di Nerezza, having committed more crimes that hitler, while Catherine is the very picture of a lady of the Victorian Age. They have two children, twin girls, one of which takes after him. 

Julian does not look forward to moving into a city rife with Kindred males, and looks forward to lording over his childs suitors, as any father would. He has left San Francisco in the hands of his two children, Sonny and Ananda, trusting that they will keep his city safe and free of Watchers.
