Nicole Lynn Gardner
"Niki"
July 6, 1977~July 22, 2000

This is my beautiful daughter Nicole or as I preferred to call her Niki, she was the oldest of my 5 children, from the age of 14 we pretty much attached at the hip, people would say where you saw one the other wasn't far behind. That was even true in the work force. When we lost Niki we were working at the same place, and I'm still there today but its a job to go to work and not see her bouncing around the place.

Niki was a kind of person that could make you laugh no matter how you felt, sometimes she would make me laugh so hard I would have tears rolling down my face, sometimes I wonder if I will ever laugh like that again. She was a very strong person and very out going, some traits I wish I had. The last few years I don't know what I would have done without her, she was always there when I needed her. I remember the first time she told me she was moving out of the house, I must have walked for hours wondering how I was going to fill my days without her.
At the age of 30 I started a second family of sorts, and my last was a set of twin girls, which would have been close to impossible because their older brother was only 1 year older than they were, but Niki jumped right in and became a part time Mom, while her dad and I worked, at the age of 12, and I knew some day she would make a great Mom. he last few years have been pretty rough for me, but she was always there to help me through the rough spots. In July of 98 my dad passed away, Feb 99 Niki's stepdad and I separated and in April of 99 the house me and the kids lived in caught fire and we were without a home, but she brought us through it all, she was right there by my side all the way. I know the only reason I've made through this is shes still my rock, even from the heavens.

Niki touched so many people in her short life, and she left a great impression on them all.

Niki did leave a piece of her behind, for she was a mother also thou only for a short time her daughter was 5 months old when she died, and I know some people think I'm crazy but that little girl knows her picture of her Mom, she talks to it and tries to get it to talk back. Niki named her daughter Cheyenne Marie, she was the light in Nikis life.
