This is a very special day for myself and Tom. We cannot imagine a happier time and we will cherish this day forever. However, there is a certain sadness today because of the loss of my best friend, Nicole Gardner, who died in an automobile accident on July 22, 2000. She was to be my Bridesmaid today. Although Nicole is not here in person, her spirit remains alive within us who knew her and I thank God for the friendship that we knew and enjoyed and for a dear friend who will never pass away in our hearts.Written by Dena Peasley
