| Danang was one of the last cities I visited on my vacation. I stayed in an old military barrack that they had turned into a hostel. I don't think they did much except change the name of the place. But what do I know? :-) Below is a carving of a male buddha. There's a person in a red shirt in the lower left hand corner to reflect scale. |
| This cave/temple was unique because it had a female buddha carving. Female buddha images and Buddhist nuns are pretty rare outside of Tibetan Buddhism. The ivory statue in the lower right hand corner is a life-size representation of the female buddha carving. Can you find her? |
