My best friend Christopher Raymond Rozario let me work with him. Of course, I worked for no pay. My title was Assistant Managing Director - it was a glorified role. That was okay. I just had to keep busy for a while and Chris was a good friend. I needed some time to think. My dear parents never gave up on me. They asked me to finish my studies in America. Why not?
After moping for several months, I returned to my studies but in the United States of America. I enrolled in a community college called City University in the state of Washington. I started working for the school on a part time basis. Then on a full time basis. Before I knew it, I graduated in June, 1985 with a 3.85 GPA, and was hired on at the Boeing Company as a Computer Programmer in February, 1987.
I am still here at Boeing. I work here as a Project Manager for a system called Customer Introduction/reorder System. I guess it is unbelievable. You have to have a goal and there is no substitute for hard work. Where did I hear that before? Hmm. Mom and Dad - I heard you and thank you for always being there for me.
Also, I am thankful for all the opportunities and to the ones not yet seen. I am very thankful to many other family members and close friends who have been there for me. Yes, I agree. I just had to be a little mushy (sentimental).
Okay I hope you have not been too bored.
Sincerely,
Nick.
