Friday morning.
I slowly wake up. I feel something on my cheek. I open my eyes and look in Nick's eyes.
"Hi," he smiles.
"Hi." He softly strokes my cheek.
"You woke me up," I say accusingly and take his hand.
"Sleeping beauties need to be woken up," he says smiling.
"You didn't wake me up with a kiss," I wrinkle my forehead.
"Sorry," he says and gives me a tender kiss. "Is that better?"

"It's half past eight. We still got plenty of time," Nick answers and caresses my belly.
"For what?" I giggle when he firmly puts his arms around me.

Someone knocks the door.

"The parties you always see pictures of in the magazines?" I ask still frightened. He nods.
"It's a big deal to me. I've never been at a party like that. I don't have anything to wear," I call.
"I know that, Leighanne doesn't have that either, because she's pregnant. We're going to buy dresses for both of you today," he says lightly.
"But what if I don't find a dress today?" I say stressed.
"Don't worry, I'm sure we'll find one. And we'll buy you some jewelry to make you the most beautiful girl of the evening," he says and gives me a kiss. "We'll buy everything you need tonight, a dress, jewelry, shoes, medicines to calm down," he grins.
"But�" I want to say, but he puts his finger on my lips.
"And Leighanne will do your make-up and your hair. Relax, I will be with you, and Leighanne so you can go to the lady's room with her as often as you want, and Aaron will be there to dot something stupid to draw the attention."
"Okay, so I guess I'll just have te enjoy shopping all day?" I relax a little. He nods.
"But I think I already have suiteble shoes. It's hard to walk on new shoes all evening," I explain.
"I know," he nods.
"No, you don't. Walking on high heels is something totally different. I bought these shoes one evening before I needed them. I walked on them from about 7 pm till 5 or 6 the next morning, it was a big party. Then we went to my friends house, where we had prepared for the party. So I changed clothes, put off my shoes, and I couldn't stand normally anymore. My feet were completely swollen. I tried to wear my normal shoes, but I couldn't close them. So I went home with my shoes open and only two days later I could finally walk normal in my shoes again. I don't want that to happen tonight. Wait till you see that shoes, than you'll believe me," I say when I see him looking unbelievingly. "But I can walk on them normally now."
"I believe you. I always believe you instantly," Nick laughs.
"Yes, I've noticed that," I laugh back. He kisses me and we cuddle and kiss for a little while.
"Let's get out of bed. It's shopping time," I say and push back the blankets and try to sit up. I can't do it. Than I'll roll out of bed.
"I hope I can walk and sit tonight," I laugh.
"I hope you can do something more," Nick grins.
I quickly take a shower while Nick's shaving. Nick takes a shower while I dress, do my hair, my face and my make-up.
"Are you finally finished?"
"Hey, you want me to look nice, don't you? Than give me some time in the morning," I say as if I'm offended.
"Girls," he sighs and I pinch his but.
"Hey," he calls and grabs hold of me. Passionately he gives me a deep kiss.
Chapter 30
We go downstairs. The others have already finished breakfast some time ago, but they're still at the table.
"Jee, finally ready?" Aaron calls when he sees us. "I disturbed them when I called them this morning. I believe they were having sex," Aaron grins at the others.
"I don't think any of us wants to know that," Kevin says.
"No," AJ shakes his head with a dirty look on his face.
"Do you know you can be really annoying?" Nick says to Aaron. I grin. Quickly we eat a very big breakfast.
"Hungry?" Leighanne asks with lifted eyebrows.
We nod and eat on. I'm finished pretty quick, Nick's still eating.
"You know we've got to go to a party tonight?" Leighanne asks.
"Yes, I know. We've got to buy dresses, right?" I nod.
"And shoes, and something for your hair, and make-up," Leighanne nods.
"I think I already have suitable shoes. You've got to see if I'm right. Oh, I'll have to bring them to the shops to see if they go with the dress, isn't it?" I think aloud.
Leighanne nods. "What kind of dress do you want?"
"I don't know, a black one," I shrug my shoulders.
"Okay, we'll see. Oh, I don't need shoes either. I brought them with me," Leighanne says.
"I need shoes," Aaron calls.
"Oh no!" Nick calls. "Are you serious? It always takes him hours to find one pair of shoes. He's just like a girl, or even worse," Nick grins.
"Well, my brother has spent two and a half hours in a shoeshop once, when he was about his age," I nod at Aaron. "It was horrible. He must have tried every shoe in that shop," I laugh.
"And than he didn't buy any?" Brian says.
"No, no, he bought a pair he had tried in the first couple of minutes."
"I'll kill Aaron if he does that," Nick threatens.
"It happens to me sometimes," Leighanne laughs.
"To me too. When I'm shopping for clothes, and I see something nice in the first shop, I want to look in other sops first. But I can't find anything in the other shops, so after a couple of hours I alway go back to that first shop," I grin.
"Why don't you buy it immediately and than go to other shops?" Nick asks surprised.
"Because, when I buy it, and I see something nicer in another shop, I can't buy that anymore," I explain.
"Why not?"
"Because I have to pay the rent every month and the university every two months, and I have to eat and drink, and go out," I grin.
"That's important, going out," Nick nods.
"Do you have to pay university every two months? I thought you always had to pay once a year," Brian asks.
"You can choose if you want to pay it once a year, or spread throughout the year, in six periods. I can never pay it in once, especially not because you've got to pay it the end of august. I've always spent all of my money in the summer holiday. Only the ones who get the money from their parents, can pay it in once. It's way too much for everyone else," zucht ik. "But it's also a lot of fun to be a student. They say it's the best time of your life," I grin. "And to me it is. Every year is better then the last year."
Nick has also finished breakfast now.
"Let's go get our coats and go shopping." Leighanne walks with us to our room and I put on the shoes to show them.
"Jee, these are indeed high heels," Nick wistles admiring.
"They're beautiful! Take them with you to measure the length of your dress. I'll go and get mine," Leighanne says and goes to her room.
I put the shoes in a bag and put on my normal shoes again. I take my coat and give Nick a hand. He kisses me.
"I love you," I wisper.
"I love you too," he wispers back. I put my shoes in the same bag as Leighanne's shoes, a bodyguard offers to carry it for her.
"Oh, yes, thank you Matthew," Leighanne says. It's the same bodyguard who was with us at the concerts last time they were in the Netherlands.
We walk into the shopping centre of Amsterdam. We arrive at a really big shoeshop where Aaron wants to look. We all go inside, the shop's immediately filled, because we're with a lot of bodyguards. At the other side of the road I see the lingerie shop of Bridget. I point it out to Leighanne.
"Let's look over there. I need some invisible lingerie for under a dress," she suggests. I nod.
"Nick, we're going to look over there. You can stay here. Tell Aaron I don't like the shoes he's wearing now," I point. He nods. I give him a kiss and we go to the other side of the road. Matthew goes with us.
"The owner of that shop does some tv-programmes. They say she's got beautiful lingerie, all sorts and sizes," I tell Leighanne. We go inside. We're the only ones in the shop, that's nice and quiet.
"Hi. Important visitors? I recognize you from something," Bridget greets us.
I nod: "Yes, that's possible. We're with them," I point at the other side of the road.
"Oh, now I know who you are. You're Brian's wife. Hi, I'm Bridget," she shakes Leighanne's hand.
"Hi, I'm Leighanne."
"And you're Nick's girlfriend, right?"
"That's right, I'm Rachel."
"Can I help you?" she asks friendly.
"We're both looking for lingerie for under a dress," I tell her.
"Do you already have the dresses?" she asks. We shake our heads.
"I would like a bra I can wear strapless, to be sure I can wear it under every dress."
"That's smart. Come on, take off your coats," she says and takes our coats.
"Let me guess your size" she asks me. I nod.
"Is it for the party tonight?" We nod again.
"I've got to go too. I know a big store where they have lots of beautiful dresses," she says and explains where we can find it.
"So I guess you both want black lingerie which you don't see under a tight dress," she says and gives us both some sexy lingerie to try on. "Try these."
"Jee, you even have sexy lingerie for pregnant women," Leighanne says surprised. It's indeed very sexy. I look for a bra that I can also wear strapless comfortable. In the underwear are no seams so you won't see it when you're wearing something that fits tightly.
"I think I'll take this one," I call from the fitting-room. Leighanne and Bridget come and look at it
"It's beautiful, it fits perfectly," Bridget says.
"And it's really sexy. I think Nick will like this one," Leighanne grins.
"He'll see it tonight. I'm not going to tell him I bought something," I grin. Leighanne has also found a set of beautiful lingerie without seams. It takes her a loner time to get dressed again and meanwhile I go to the pay-desk with Bridget.
"Do you also sell condoms?" I ask her.
She nods: "In all sorts and sizes."
"Do you also have big ones?" She nods again and puts a couple of boxes on the counter.
"Normal ones, big ones, extra big ones and extra extra big ones," she points out.
"Can I have a look?"
"Of course."
I think the big ones are the ones Nick uses now.
"I'll take the extra big ones," I point out.
"Are you sure?" she grins.
"Positively," I grin back.
"So the gossip is really true. Don't worry, I never tell anyone what I've sold," she smiles.
"I can hardly deny it when he needs that size," I giggle.
"We've got 12 or 24 pieces."
"I'll take 24," I point and pay her. Leighanne has also finished shopping and also pays. Matthew takes our bags very gallant.
"Maybe I'll see you tonight," Bridget says.
"Yes, bye."
"Bye."
We go back to the shoeshop.
"Isn't he ready yet?" I aks Nick and give him a kiss. He nods his head.
"He can't decide." I look at the shoes that are standing in front of Aaron. Nick stands behind me and asks in my ear: "Did you buy anything?"
"Leighanne bought some beautiful lingerie," I answer.
"Aaron, try these," I point at a couple of neat, but still nice shoes. He puts them on.
"I would definitely buy these," I say convincing. Leighanne also starts nodding very hard.
"I think I'll buy these," Aaron says doubting.
Nick starts laughing: "Buy them, the ladies like them." Meanwhile I go outside with Nick. He pushes me to a wall and kisses me passionately.
"I almost can't wait till we're back in the hotel tonight after the party," I wisper. As an answer he gives me a french kiss.
We hear the others come out of the shop. They are getting besieged by a group of fans.
"Where's Nick?" we hear a couple of them ask. Nick grins at me.
"I think he's over there," I hear someone saying.
"We're caught. Now go!" I grin at him. He gives me another kiss and turns around to the group of girls. Immediately he also gets besieged by them.
When the fans are gone, we go to the store Bridget told us about. They have a lot indeed, we see when we arrive. We explain what we're looking for and they show us a couple of dresses. I put on a couple of them. Leighanne has quickly found a dress, to her own amazement. The dresses I put on are nice, but not that I can say: 'Woooow.' Than a saleswoman gets a dress from behind.
"This one has just arrived." It's a really beautiful dress. I put it on, it also looks very nice. I walk out of the dressing-room.
"It's beautiful," Nick smiles. It's a black dress with a really tight body, no arms, low cut. The skirt is pretty wide and falls really nice straight down. You hardly see anything of my fat but and big legs. It's only a little too long. Everybody nods that it's a beautiful dress.
"If you like it, we can make it the right length for you," the saleswoman says.
"I like this dress," I nod.
"Did you bring your shoes that have to go with this dress? Than we can measure the length right away," the saleswoman suggests. I put on the shoes and they help me to stand on a low table so they can measure the length and pin it.
Aaron wistles when he sees my shoes: "Jee, can you really walk on that shoes?"
"Well, it took some practice, but I can walk on them," I grin.
"I need some stockings or something," I say to the saleswoman.
"We've got stay-ups," she nods and gives me a pair of gleaming, skin-coloured stay-ups.
"I think these go best with the dress," she says.
"That's the right colour," Leighanne nods. They've finished pinning the dress and I go back to the dressing-room.
"We'll come back later to get the dress," Nick says and we all go outside.
"At least you're a lot faster than Aaron," Kevin says. Aaron looks back indignant.
"Let's get something to eat," Brian suggests.
"I'm starving," Leighanne nods.
Chapter 31
We look for a eating-house and order a lot of sandwiches and soda.
"Mmm, this is delicious," Nick says with his mouth full. I take a bite out of the sandwich he holds in front of me.
"Mmm, it is," zeg ik.
"You guys make me sick. Now you're already eating the same bread," Aaron calls. We look up surprised.
"You should stop looking at them all the time. You didn't notice it, but Brian just took a bite out of Leighanne's bread. You don't say anything about them," AJ says accusing to Aaron, who looks a bit glum. I smila at him and he quickly looks down. We've finished lunch very fast and we go outside.
"What next?" Howie asks.
"Jewelry," Nick and Brian say at the same time and start laughing.
"Jewelry it is," Kevin says. The others are also happy with that, finally something where they can buy something themselves. I don't know where to look first at the jeweller.
I explain Leighanne what I want to do with my hair and what kind of slide I need for that. We find a really beautiful one with little stones in it. Nick shows me a couple of earrings and a bracelet who fit really nice with my slide and necklace.
"O Nick, they're really beautiful," I call when he shows them to me.
"For a really beautiful girl," he says and gives me a kiss. He lets them wrap everything up and pays. Brian and Leighanne have also already finished.
"Let's go and buy some make-up. We'll come back here when we're finished," Leighanne suggests. The others nod yes. The four of us, and of course a couple of bodyguards, go to a megastore where they have a large make-up department. Leighanne collects everything she needs for her and my make-up.
"They're going to take a lot of pictures of everybody tonight. You've got to wear the right make-up," she says when she sees my surprised face about the enormous amount. "Now we only need to find a lipstick for you, and than we're ready."
I point out a beautiful dark-red one.
"It's a beautiful colour, but you'll need one that lasts alle evening, and when you kiss. It would be embarrassing if Nick would be covered with your lipstick. And I'm sure he can't stay a whole evening without kissing you," she grins. Brian and I start laughing.
"How do you know that?" Nick says as if he's surprised and gives me a kiss demonstrative. Leighanne searches on.
"Do you like this one?" she holds out a lipstick with almost the same colour.
"Yes, beautiful colour," I nod.
"Are you sure I can kiss her when she's wearing this one?" Nick says with a worried face.
"It's the same one I use. Have you ever seen lipstick on Brian?" she asks Nick.
"No, not from you," Nick grins. Leighanne kicks him.
"No, no, I've never seen lipstick on Brian," Nick laughs. They pay for everything and we go back to the jeweller's.
"All we've got left to do is get a manicure," Leighanne says to me.
"Anybody else who needs a manicure?" she calls at the others.
"No, thanks. We've done enough girls-things today," Howie laughs.
"Why don't you get a drink or something while we get our manicure," Leighanne suggests. They nod yes.
"Good idea," Kevin calls.
"Wel'll be in the cafe next door," AJ says.
"We can go and pick up the dresses," Brian says to Nick.
He nods and says to Aaron: "Are you coming with us?"
Leighanne go to a beautysalon. I've never had a manicure before. In half an hour we're ready and we have beautiful hands and nails. Brian and Nick have picked up our dresses and we all go back to the hotel.
"When are we having dinner?" I ask with a look at my watch, because it's already late in the afternoon.
"In half an hour, right here in the hotel," Kevin answers.
Nick and I go to our room, to hang up the dress.
"It's really beautiful. Thank you," I thank Nick again.
"It's all right, I want you to look nice. I've got something else for you," he says and takes something out of his pocket. He gives me a creditcard.
"A creditcard? Oh, I can't take that!" I call.
"No, I'm serious. You don't have a lot of money to spend, and I've got plenty. I can't possibly spend all of my money on my own. Please take it," he presses.
"I don't need it. I've got enough money to buy food and go out. And you've already bought me a lot of things," I still refuse.
"Okay, than use it only for the things you need to buy to come to the USA at christmas. For clothes, a suitcase, your ticket."
"Oh, well, all right. I guess that's okay," I admit.
"That's good. I don't want you to go out less or don't do the things you normally do to save the money to buy a ticket and stuff like that," Nick smiles. "But if you need it, don't be afraid to use it. I won't even notice if you would spend a lot of money," he assures me.
"Thank you," I say softly and hug him. He holds me tight and we cuddle for a while. "Actually, I'm a bit excited about the party tonight. All those famous people that I normally only see in the magazines," I say and look at Nick again.
"I think it's going to be a bit boring. We don't know any of those people, but everybody knows us," Nick shrugs his shoulders.
"We can make it fun. I know all those Dutch people. And we can dance together. Please don't ruin the excitement for me by saying it will be boring," I say with a blue face.
"Whenever you're with me, I'm having a great time. And indeed we can dance. We've never danced together before," he smiles.
"Oh. I actually can't dance, but I'll do my best. And during romantic songs I can do this," I say and put my arms around his neck and lay my head against his chest.
"That's all I need for a perfect evening. And they won't play any other songs. It's not that you can really dance on that parties," Nick wispers in my ear.
"Oh, than I don't have to worry. I can dance, but, you know, when I go out, in different clothes, with different shoes, when I've had a couple of drinks and when nobody's watching," I grin.
"Well, we were planning to to out tomorrow evening, all of us. To somewhere where we can normally dance, not a real discotheque or something," Nick says. I nod and give him a deep kiss. Passionately he kisses back.
"Wow, take it easy. It's not that I don't want to, but we've got to go for dinner in a couple of minutes," I wisper.
"Yes, you're right. I want t make love to you, but we've got to wait till tonight," Nick sighs.
"I want to make love to you too, but we just can't right now. Hey, in the christmas holiday, we can do it whenever we want to," I say.
"Oh, don't count on that, only at my house. There will be lots of people around. We'll have as much privacy at my parents house as we have here. To start with, we've got aaron around. I hear him coming. Listen, he's talking to Brian. Let's go, before he comes in," Nick says and he pulls me towards the door. He opens the door and walks into Aaron, who just wanted to knock.
"We're early, aren't we?" I grin at Aaron. I give him an arm and give Nick a hand.
