Chapter 13

I walk into the hotel and see one of the bodyguards, sitting in the concourse. He sees me and we walk upstairs.
"Have they gone to the Arena long ago?" I ask him.
"No, I was only waiting for 20 minutes," he answers, and opens up Howies room.  It's the same as the one Nick and Aaron sleep in, the only difference is that this room is tidy.
I put my bag inside and take my wallet, keys and cellphone in my pockets, so I don't have to take a bag with me.
We walk back downstairs and take a cab to go to the Arena. It's really crowded near the Arena. There are parked cars everywhere and lots of nervous teenagers and parents are walking around.
"Jee, I'm very lucky. I don't have to do anything to stand in the front row tonight. I bet the others who'll stand in the front row have been waiting here since early this morning," I say pointing at the crowd.
"No, you did use your time much better," he says with a grin. I smile back at him. We walk towards the back-door. He drags me along with him, we can hardly get through the screaming people. The security quickly lets us in and takes me to the diningroom. They're already having dinner there.
I quickly hang up my coat and walk to the table. I give Nick a kiss and sit down next to him.
"You're very fast. Exactly two and a half hours," he says while softly rubbing my leg.
Aaron is sitting on my other site and I see him looking at us.
"Don't dare!" I threaten with a raised finger when I see that he wants to say something. He puts out his tongue.
"You travel very fast by train and bus," Leighanne says to me.
"Yes, I know what train and bus to take at which time. You get used to it, I do it very often, because I can travel for free on working days," I explain.
"For free?" Aaron says with his eyebrows raised, "you just don't buy a ticket."
"No, because I'm a student I can get a card to travel for free during working days or during weekends. It's very useful. But I still don't like travelling by train. Usually they're late and when I came back an hour ago the train was really crowded. I was standing without anything to hold on to. But it's faster than travelling by car because of all the traffic jams around Amsterdam," I tell them while I put some food on my plate. "Mmm, tastes good," I say with my mouth full of food.
"Don't talk with something in your mouth," Aaron teases.
"Can't talk when I get my tongue out of my mouth," I say with my mouth full again.
"Don't talk with food in your mouth," Aaron corrects.
"Why not? It's much faster when you eat and talk at the same time. My little brother stops eating when he talks. It takes hours to finish dinner when he's got something to tell or when you ask him questions. Just like you," I tease Aaron.
"I talked to Caroline on the phone when I went home," I tell Nick. "She's the one with who I go out in Utrecht an I usually shop with her. She's going to help me find some clothes to fit with the black boots I bought this afternoon. She was really enthusiastic about it, and she kept asking questions so in the end everybody knew who I was talking about. They were all staring at me. It was kind of embarrassing, you should have seen that faces!"
"I remember that from the beginning when we were starting to get famous," Nick answers. "Don't care what all those people thing, it's just important what the people that know you think," Nick says resigned. "I already called my parents when you were away. They think it's really cool that I met you. My parents are great!" Nick adds.
"I also called my parents when I got home. They were concerned about me. They wanted to be sure I would be allright. But they were also happy for me, when they heard that I'm so happy. They're a little bit suspicious when it comes to boyfriends," I smile.
"I can understand that. Their little girl is staying with some American guy they don't know. My parents are suspicious about boyfriends from m sisters too," Nick answers.
"And about girlfriends too," Aaron grins, "we're not allowed to have girls in or bedroom."
"Oh, come on! You're 22!" I say to Nick unbelievingly.
"Ssht, I'm sure I'm allowed to let you into my bedroom when they've met you. But he still isn't," Nick whispers to me and grins at Aaron.
We've finished dinner and the boys have to go and change. Leighanne and I are chatting a bit in a little room next to the dressingrooms. Aaron is meddling in the clothes.
Nick finished clothing quickly and comes to me.
"They'll do my make-up just before the show. I always mess it up when they do it too early. They're doing the other guys now."
"I'm going to rest a little bit," Leighanne says and leaves us alone.
I sit down close to Nick, but he pulls me on his lap. I sit backwards, with our faces towards eachother. We start doing some serious deep kissing. He puts his hands underneath my shirt and gently rubs my back. I caress his arms. Than he moves his hands to my stomach and breasts.
"You've got big breasts," he wispers in my ear.
"Maybe that's why I've got a boyfriend with big hands," I whisper back and kiss him in his neck. I slowly go to his ear and lick his lobe softly. I feel he likes it. I go to his mouth and give him a wet kiss. He gently bites my ear, and we push our bodies together tightly. We hug eachother a while. He puts his hands underneath my shirt again and strokes my breasts.
"That's not fair," I say with a pout, "you're wearing all those clothes and I can only touch your arms." He's wearing some kind of armour for the show.
"Save it for tonight," I say and kindly push away his hands. He looks pitiful at me.
"Don't make me want you when you've got to go," I whisper. "You've got to go to the make-up," I point at Howie who's standing at the door.
"Okay, lovebirds. Time for the last kiss in a couple of hours," he laughs.
Nick gives a deep sigh and gives me a long kiss. I go looking for Leighanne and carefully wake her up.
"Are you coming? It's almost time," I tell her. She nods. We walk through the dressingroom past Nick, who tries to grab me. The one who's doing the make-up protests loudly: "No kissing, no kissing!"
I give him a kiss on his hand and quickly walk on.
One of the bodyguards guides us to the hall. We can stand in front of the crush-barrier, so we can be close to the podium without being crushed.
"Are you going to scream as loud as the girls behind you," Leighanne shouts in my ear.
"Yes I am. Put something in your ears," I shout back. After waiting a while the Boys appear on stage. It really is a magnificent show. Leighanne is singing as loud as I am. Nick sees me and winks at me. They're singing and dancing with all their might. A couple of times they change clothes.
They reappear on stage and Nick starts singing 'Heaven in your eyes' and looks at me all the time. At the end of the song he blows a kiss at me. I pretend to catch it and put it on my cheek. Leighanne gives me two thumbs up. They sing a couple of other songs. They leave and come back once and sing an extra song.
Now it's really over. A bodyguards leads us back to the dressingroom. The adrenalin is still raging in my veins.
"It was really great!" I call at Leighanne. She enthusiastically nods yes.
"They're taking a shower now. Don't worry, they'll dress before they come back here," she says when I look at the door to the showers. "After that we're going back to the hotel and relax a while," she explains. "Want something to drink? My throat is dry from singing," she smiles. I nod.
Nick returns from the shower the first. He falls down next to me and gives me a kiss.
"Pff, I'm exhausted," he sighes. "Did you enjoy the show?" he asks.
Leighanne nods and I say: "Yes, it was really great. I've never seen a concert that fantastic before."
"Yes, but you're prejudiced. Have you seen many concerts before?" he smiles at me.
"I've been to Lowlands once. That's a popfestival in summer. And I've seen a lot of acts on Queen's day and, how do I say that, Liberty day?" I ask. "The day the second world war was over in Holland. We celebrate that every year. Last year Queen performed for us. It was the first time after Freddy died. Nobody expected that. It was great," I tell them.
"Queen? I would have liked to see that," Nick nods.
The others also come back from the showers one by one.
"Jee, I've never seen Nick that fast. He's always the last to finish taking a shower," Howie says. "I wonder how that happened," he grins.
Everybody is finished and we secretly walk outside. With a big car we go back to the hotel.
Nick points at Aaron, who's almost asleep.
"The little boy is sleeping," Nick says. Aaron heard it and puts out his tongue.
We arrive at the hotel and are welcomed by someone of the hotel. "I heard on the radio the concert was great! Do you want something to drink?" he points at the bar.
The others nod and Nick and I walk upstairs secretly.

Chapter 14

Nick pulls me into his room and locks the door behind us.
"Finally alone," he whispers in my ear.
I laugh and put my arms around his neck. We start kissing passionately and fall down on the bed. He's lying on top of me and lets his hand glide underneath my shirt. I roll on top of him and sit up straight. I pull him up and put my legs around him. I kiss him and take off his shirt. I stroke his chest and push him back on the bed. I'm still sitting and caress and kiss his chest and stomach everywhere.
He pulls out my shirt and lies on top of me. He gently squeezes my breasts.
"I wanna bet your underwear is black," he whispers. I give him a questioning look.
"Your bra is black," he grins.
I grin back at him and grab his bum with two hands and pull him closer on me. I feel he's getting a stiff one. It feels like he's really big!
He notices and says apologetic: "I'm sorry, I can't do anything about it."
"With girls you can't see it, but you also turn me on," I answer. We keep on caressing and kissing eachother for a while.
Then Nick gets up and puts his finger on my lips when he sees that I want to say something. He walks to his bag and takes something out. I can see through his jeans that he really has a big one. He sits down next to me and puts down a little box. He pushes my hair aside and puts on the necklace we bought this afternoon. I put the other necklace on his neck. It's really beautiful.
"It's really beautiful," I say and hug him.
"Something beautiful for the beautiful thing we have," he says and looks deep into my eyes.
"Now let's take it easy," he whispers when I kiss him in his neck again. "I think they'll be coming upstairs soon."
"O yes, it would be a bit embarrassing if they would see you like that," I grin while looking at his jeans that's still a bit tight. He grins back and gives me a big hug.
"I love to be close to you, but now you're squeezing me," I tease him.
"Oh, well, I see. In that case," he says and pretends to be offended and sits a little space away from me. I take his hand and push him down on the bed. He pulls me with him. We lay teasing eachother a bit by moving away when the other tries to give a kiss.
We can hear the others walking in the corridor.
"Are you ready?" I ask him, looking secretly at his jeans. He nods. Someone knocks the door.
"Oh, wait!" I call and quickly look for my shirt and put it back on. Nick's grinning and opens the door.
"Jee, what were you two doing," Aaron says with a naughty look. "Oh, I see," he says and points at me while I'm pulling my shirt straight. My hair will look like a mess too, I guess. Nick didn't even put his shirt back on, but at least he doesn't have a hard one anymore. The others also walk into the room.
"Sooo, nice necklaces!" Brian whistles. Proudly we show them the necklaces and the others admire them.
"We're going to sleep," Howie says. I nod and kiss Nick goodnight.
I change in the bathroom and get into bed. Howie turns off the light and says: "I hope I don't snore. Just punch me if I do."
"I don't think I'll hear that. I hope I don't talk in my sleep. They say I do that when something big has happened to me. So I think I'll be talking all night," I smile back. "And please don't wake me up tomorrow. I can be very grumpy in the morning," I add.
"I'm used to that. You can't be as grumpy as Nick," he grins.
"Good night."
"Good night."

Chapter 15

Fridaymorning.

I wake up and see Nick sitting on his knees beside my bed.
"Hey!" I smile and stretch myself.
"Hey!" he smiles back and strokes my cheek. "Did you sleep well?" he asks. I nod and stretch myself again.
"Howie didn't dare to wake you up. He woke me up instead. He said he'd rather see me grumpy than you being grumpy," Nick says.
"Yes, I told him last night I can be really grumpy when you wake me up. But I won't when you do it," I smile. I sit up straight and put on my glasses.
"It's only half past nine," I call and fall back on the bed.
"Oh come on," Nick says, "the others are already having breakfast, except for Aaron. Tomorrow you can sleep as long as you want, but today we have a pressconference and we've got to give autographs at a cd-store."
"And what am I going to do?" I ask with my eyebrows raised.
"You can go somewhere with Aaron and Leighanne. You can do what you like to do," he says while pulling me up straight again.
"You haven't even dressed yet," I say with a look at his boxershorts and shirt.
"No, Aaron is taking a shower now."
"And you haven't shaved," I say and stroke his cheeks. "Sexy!" I smile naughty. Nick grabs me and gives me a kiss.
"Auch, auch, you've got to shave first," I call laughing. "And I'm going to put in my contactlenses, we can't kiss, our glasses are going to hit eachother," I laugh and put off his glasses.
"Hey, I can't see you properly anymore," he shouts.
"I bet you see more than I do without glasses," I say. "And you don't have to see anything. I'm just wearing a small nightdress," I say while stepping out of bed. He holds me and we hug eachother for a while.
"Oh no, that's too easy," I smile when I feel his hands underneath my nightdress and dive away from.
"Now go," I smile and give him back his.
He leaves the room and I'm going to put in my contactlenses. I take a nice warm shower. With a towel around me I walk back into the room. Hmm, I forgot to lock the door of the room. Well, I've already finished taking a shower now. I quickly dress and do my make-up. Now only my do my hair and I'm ready.
Someone knocks the door.
"Come in," I call from the bathroom. Nick cautiously peeks from behind the bathroomdoor.
"Almost finished," I smile and put two hairpins in my hair. This way it looks right all day without having to blow-dry it for a while.
I walk out of the bathroom and give Nick a kiss.
"Hmm, you smell nice," I say. I walk to my bag and look for a pair of socks. They're the same dark purple as my blouse.
Nick is waiting patiently on my bed. I sit down next to him to dry my feet. He takes the towel from me and says: "I can do that. They're not too big for me." I grin back at him and put on my socks with.
"It's Piglet, from Winnie the Pooh," I say when I see him looking at them.
He nods: "Cute!"
I touch his necklace and get up to put on mine. Nick also wants to get up, but I push him back and sit down backwards on his lap. I put my arms around his neck and give him a long deep kiss. Mmm, he's such a good kisser!
"Hadn't done that today," I whisper in his ear.
"Let's go and have breakfast."
Hand in hand we walk downstairs.
"It are always the youngest who are the last to arrive at breakfast," AJ greets us. I point at Aaron.
"Oh, he arrived two minutes ago," Howie says and gives Aaron a slap on his shoulder.
We sit down and a waiter comes to us. "Do you wish anything special for breakfast?"
I see Kevin is eating a baked egg and say: "Do you have a fried egg for me?" He nods.
"and do you have rooibosthee?"
"Coming right away," he answers. He looks at Nick k.
"Do you have toast?"
"Coming right away," the waiter nods. He immediately brings the toast. Well, I don't want that for breakfast. I take a raisinbread and put some butter and sugar on it.
I see Leighanne isn't eating anything.
"Morning sickness?" I ask her.
She nods: "It will be over soon." I nod with sympathy.
"Did you sleep well?" Howie asks. I nod with my mouth full.
"Didn't I snore?" he asks.
"I don't know. I didn't hear anything," I shake my head. "Didn't I talk in my sleep? I do that, they say," I explain to the others.
"Haven't heard anything," Howie shakes his head.
Mu fried egg and the rooibostea are brought.
"Mmm, free-range eggs. Thanks," I say to the waiter. He nods surprised.
"Free-range eggs have much more orange eggyolk," I explain.
"Oh, yes. Enjoy your breakfast."
"Jee, don't you eat or drink normal things?" Aaron calls when he smells my tea.
"What kind of tea is that?" Nick asks.
"I have no idea what it's called in English. We call it rooibos. It's very healthy. It's calming and it works against allergies," I answer. "Wanna try it?" I say to Nick and point at the tea.
He nods and tastes it. He takes another sip.
"It's different, but I think I like it."
"Do you have any allergies?" Brian aks.
"Yes, I'm allergic to cats. And a litle bit to dustmites. And I've got a little bit of something like hayfever. But it's mostly cats, although I like them. My parents have a cat, but he's never in the house, so that's okay," I answer.
"I'm allergic to cats too, but I still like them," Nick says.
"Hey, do you like dogs?" Aaron asks me.
"Yes, I love them. My parents have two dogs, Newfoundlanders. Do you know them?" I ask them.
"Aren't they really big?" Kevin says.
"Yes, they look a bit like Sint-Bernards. But they're totally black or brown," knik ik. "We've got a brown one, she's one year old. And a black one, she's two years old. My parents have a big garden, but the youngest is always trying to escape.
This summer when my parents were on vacation, I took care of the dogs for three weeks. The dogs made a hole in the fence and the youngest murdered a chicken. I fixed the fence and buried the chicken. Two days later they made another hole in the fence and murdered another chicken. So I kept the chicken inside. A couple of days later she made a hole in another fence, the one where we keep two geese. But luckily they crossed the water so the dog couldn't follow them.
And I had to walk the dogs everyday. Just imagine. Me, with two big dogs. When I walk with one dog, it's no problem, but two dogs are definitel stronger than I am. Once we had to pass a girl with a horse. The dogs went totally crazy. They were barking and jumping an I was like: 'Ho, shit. This is not good.' I was afraid the horse would start kicking or something so I got very angry at the dogs and they stopped barking. That ended okay.
But another time we met a black dog who walked without a line. Our eldest dog hates other black dogs, I believe she got bitten by one when she was a puppy. So she went crazy when we met that dog and I had to let both dogs go, I just couldn't hold them. They ripped open my finger, and it was very embarrassing that they wouldn't listen to me. So after that I only walked on another road where I would only meet the neighbours with their dogs," I tell them with the matching gestures.
"I wish I could see that!" Aaron laughs.
"Hey, it's not funny. I bet you're not strong enough too, to hold two of that dogs!" I call indignantly.
"We've got dogs too. But they're a lot smaller. You can almost hold all of them at a time," Nick smiles.
"Are you all finished? We've got to go in 10 minutes," Kevin says with a look at the clock.
"What are you going to do?" Brian asks Leighanne, Aaron and me.
"I'm going to take some rest," Leighanne says, "relax and read a little."
I look at Aaron.
"Are you coming with me? I want to buy a cd." Aaron nods yes.
"What kind of cd?" Nick asks.
"From a Dutch band, VanDikHout. I guess you don't know them, they sing in Dutch." Nick shakes his head and pulls up his shoulders.
"You've got great candy here, isn't it? I want to buy some candy," Aaron says enthusiastically when I nod.
We get up and get our coats upstairs. I put my wallet, cellphone and keys back in my bag. At least then I don't lose them from my pockets, it doesn't all fit in my inside pocket.
I walk to Nick and Aaron's room.
"I can't find my wallet because of him," Nick points accusingly at Aaron, who's collecting his clothes. I take Nick's hands and give him a kiss. He kisses back and we start doing that fantastic french kissing again.
"Found your wallet!" Aaron calls triumphantly.
"Oh, sorry," he grins when he sees that we were kissing.
Nick gives me another kiss.
"Got to go," he says. I nod and he leaves.
"Are you ready?" I ask Aaron. He nods and we go outside.

Chapter 16

There's a strong wind, but the sun is shining. I take Aaron's arm and we walk to the shoppingstreets, it's a pleasant walk.
"So, tell me. You're fourteen. You must be interested in girls by now," I say.
"Of course. Why?" he says while looking at me sidewards.
"Oh, just being curious. I never hear something about girls from my brothers. I'm starting to wonder if they like girls," I grin. "My eldest brother is almost 28 and as far as I know he's never had a girlfriend. At least not serious enough to tell anybody. And my youngest brother is almost 18. I know he likes girls, but I don't think he's had a girlfriend yet. Not even on vacation," I go on telling. "I wonder why. I had a couple of boyfriends before I was 18. Have you ever had a girlfriend?"
"I've dated some firls. But it was never serious," Aaron answers.
"But you kissed them," I say.
"Yes, but only a few of them," he nods.
"So you've had a few girlfriends. That's normal. My eldest brother must have kissed some girls. I can't imagine a man hasn't done that at 28. But I doubt my youngest brother ever kissed a girl. I sometimes ask him about girls, and I'm sure he'll go red if he has kissed a girl. My sister had her boyfriend when she just turned 15. She still has the same boyfriend now. They bought a house together this year. I wanna bet she never had another real boyfriend. So that leaves me to be the only normal person in the family. I've had a couple of boyfriends an I had my first real boyfriend years ago," I grin.
"What do you mean with a real boyfriend?" he asks.
"Well, you know, one you go all the way with," I say lightly.
"So, you mean, your sister and you aren't virgins, and both your brothers are virgins?" he asks unbelievingly.
"Yes, I think so," I nod.
"So, than I was right yesterday. You are the smartest of the family. Start early and try different boys," he grins.
"Well, if you put it that way you're right," I laugh. "What's the average age in America to do it the first time?" I ask.
"I don't know, I guess 17 or 18," Aaron answers.
"I don't believe that, I guess it's around 16 or 17 here. In America you don't wait longer!" I call. "There are much more teenage parents in America than here. Do they talk about sex in America? You know, parents and teachers?" I ask.
"To us?" Aaron asks.
"Yes, you know, explain how it works and how you get pregnant and how you can get diseases and stuff," I go on.
"My parents haven't done that. At school they tell just a little bit," he answers.
"Don't they explain about profylactics and how to use them? Don't they show how to use condoms properly?" I ask surprised.
"No. Definitely not at school. I think my parents told Nick when he turned 18 or something." He shrugs his shoulders.
"18? They must have been way too late!" I call. "And didn't they show your elder sister how to use condoms?" I ask amazed.
"No, I don't think so."
"They showed us everything at school when we were 13 or 14. They demonstrated how to use a condom on a broom. Everybody is giggling and laughing and making jokes, but you surely know how to use them properly. And they're definitely not too late. Well, I think most of us began experimenting about 15," I tell him laughing.
"They showed condoms at school?" he calls.
"Yes, in biology class. And also other profylactics to prevent pregnancy. They also showed condoms for women. I don't think anybody would ever use them. I wouldn't even know where to buy those things. Have you never heard about condoms for females?" I ask when I see his surprised look. He shakes his head unbelieving.
"Jee, than you've really missed something," I say.
"What are they for? Lesbians?" he asks.
"No, normal couples. When the man doesn't want to use a condom because he thinks it's less pleasure or something. It's not true, but some men still believe that," I explain. "I'll see if I can find some of them once, than I'll show you. You will laugh your head off," I say cheerful. "So, if you do it with a girl before they explained everything, you're not likely to use condoms, are you?" I say thinking.
"No, I guess not," Aaron shakes his head.
"Hmm, that's not good. I'll think about that. Hey, when you ever do it with a girl, be sure you use a condom. There are also instructions in the bos. And if you don't want to buy them, ask Nick or a friend or something. You can also ask me, but I think I won't see you very often. Hey, I even sell condoms!"
"Hey, I'm not sleeping with girls. I'm only 14!" he calls.
"You never know when the first time is going to happen! I didn't expect it either. I was 15, the boy was 15, so" I say.
"Jee, you were 15? I'll think about it. You're 21 now, aren't you?" he asks. I nod.
"So almost one third of your life you're already having sex!" he grins.
"Hey, I'm not a girl who runs from one boy to another! I just started early. I haven't had a boyfriend for a long time before Nick. The last one was really bad. I almost started thinking about becoming lesbian or something. He was terrible. But your brother is great. He's a fantastic guy!" I tell.
"I don't know," Aaron shrugs his shoulders.
"You know he's a fantastic guy! I wasn't talking about the sex. I haven't had sex with him!" I call. "When would we have done that?"
"Yesterday evening?" Aaron suggests.
"No! You don't do that in an hour! And when you're being serious with someone, you first have to go back to your own life and think it over. And when it's still serious and you see eachother some other times, you can maybe do it. When you dot it the day you met, it won't be more than a one-night-stand. You don't just do it, first you've got to really know eachother and trust eachother," I explain.
"What you told before didn't sound like that," he apologizes.
"Look, you've got two kinds of sex. Just having sex, or making love. Just having sex happens more often. You don't have to know eachother. It's happened to me that I couldn't remember the boy's name or what he looked like the next morning. That usually happens shen you're young, especially when you're kind of drunk. Making love is something else. That's when you're in love. When you've got butterflies in your stomach. You first get to know eachother, that takes time. And when you do it, it's more than 10 times better than a one-night-stand. A one-night-stand can be over in less than an hour. When you're making love, it can take almost all night. When you're really in love, even just kissing is better than the wildest one-night-stand," I go on telling.
"Only kissing is better than having sex?" he asks unbelievingly.
"Yes, definitely. So don't dare to disturb Nick and me when we're kissing anymore," I threaten him with a raised finger. He shakes his head laughing.
We arrive at a cd-store and i go looking for the cd of VanDikHout. I don't have to listen to it first, I'm sure it's a good cd.
"Hey, there's my cd," Aaron grins.
"I wanna listen to that. We've got plenty of time," I nod to Aaron.
I take his cd and go to the counter.
"I would like to listen to this one." The man sees Aaron next to me and nods surprised.
"Yeah, it's really him," I smile.
"You're together with him, and you don't know his cd?" the man asks.
"That's right. He's my new brother in law," I joke. The man walks away, obviously thinking hard.
I listen to the cd and say to Aaron: "Nice cd, there are a couple of really cool songs on it."
"Thanks. Don't buy it, I'll give you one. Want an autograph on it?" he jokes.
"Sure, than I can sell it for a lot of money," I joke back at him. I buy the cd of VanDikHout and we go back outside.
"Oh. Look! Fans!" I call and point at a couple of giggling girls.
"Is it him, is it him," I copy them. "We should have brought some bodyguards, than they're sure it's you," I laugh. Arm in arm we walk on, past the girls.
One of the girls is pushed forward by the others and asks nervously: "Are you Aaron?"
Aaron smiles and says: "Yes, that's me."
They're nervously giggling and talking to eachother. 'Who is that girl? She's older than him. Are you going to ask? I would like to take a picture of him and me.' They says in Dutch. Wispering I translate everything for Aaron.
"Jee, it's really fun to spend time with you," he smiles. "I've learned more than they learn me at school in a year. And you can translate everything, while they don't know that!" he grins.
One of the girls gets pushed forward again.
"Is that your girlfriend?" she asks nervously, while looking sidewards at me.
"No, it's my new sister. Sister-in-law, I must say," he answers. The girls look at eachother, not understanding what he just said.
"I'm his new sister-in-law," I translate to them in Dutch.
They look at me surprised.
"Hey, you're Dutch?" I nod.
"So, you're his brother's girlfriend?" I nod again.
"Nick's?" they ask unbelievingly. I nod again and Aaron also starts nodding. Than someone takes out a camera.
"Can we take a picture of you?" they ask nervously. Aaron nods yes.
"Hey, I'll take pictures of all of you, if you tell us where to find the candy-shop, the Jamin," I suggest. They explain where the shop is and I take a picture of them with Aaron, one by one. A couple of autograph in agendas and stuff and we can finally proceed.
In the Jamin Aaron takes a good look around. He buys a bit of almost every kind of candy and than we go back to the hotel.
"Let's go and have something to eat at the hotel, together with Leighanne," I suggest. Aaron is okay so we walk back again.
