~~~~When Fate Smiles~~~~
Part Three
Nicks heart jumped into his throat. Did she really want to be with him? This beautiful woman? He couldn't believe his luck. "There's a park not too far from here, by the lake. Want to take a walk?" Nick had lost his power of speech, so he simply nodded. "Great!" She got up to pay her bill and he returned to his table for his leather jacket, before returning to her side. "Don't you have a bill too?" she questioned. "I didn't eat." he admitted. "I've been watching you since I came in." Her eyes opened wide in surprise. "You know all the right things to say." "They're all true." She threaded her arm through his as they left the restaurant.
The park was almost empty, the setting sun cast a reddish glow across the water. "It's beautiful here." They had settled on a bench near the water and were watching the boats criss cross before them. "I like coming here to relax. The kids like it too, lots of stuff to climb on." She turned her head to look at him. He was still staring out to the water, which she knew he loved. "Do you mind if I ask you a personal question? I shouldn't care but..." "Shoot." "How old are you? I've been wondering since I first saw you." "How old do you think I am?" "You look about 25 or so." She smiled and ducked her head down, here is where all her dreams flew out the window. "I'm 33, Nick." He stared at her and placed two of his fingers under her chin, tipping her head up to face him. "You don't look it. I never would have guessed." "You are too kind, Nick." He took her hands in his. "I mean it."
He leaned forward and put his arm around her shoulder, pulling her closer to him. "I knew from the moment I saw you that I wanted to be with you. I don't care if you are older than me." She placed her head on his shoulder. "You never told me how old you were." He laced his fingers through hers and brought her hand to his lips. "I'm 20." "And you really want to be with me? You could have any girl you want, Nick. Why me?" He thought for a moment. He couldn't tell her it was because she had no idea who he was, that she was treating him like a normal person. But it went beyond that too. He had been drawn to her. Like fate or something. "I don't know, something, I knew when I first saw you. I had to be with you." He dipped his head down to meet hers and kissed her softly. His tongue ran gently along her lips. She parted them to allow him entrance. The kiss started slowly, their tongues teasing each other, tasting, then began a fierce battle as the kiss intensified. She ran her fingers through his hair, keeping his face close to hers. She was going to enjoy every minute of this. His arms wrapped around her tightly, his large hands tracing the outlines of her body. They broke the kiss, reluctantly, breathlessly, when Nicks cell phone buzzed incessantly.
"I'm sorry." he mumbled. "Hello?" His face wore a look of frustration, maybe a touch of anger. "No, I'm fine. I just didn't want to be surrounded tonight." He listened to the voice on the other end. "I don't know, probably. Look, I'm with someone right now. I'm fine." The voice persisted. "I'll call later to let you know, okay? I won't miss any of our commitments." He clicked the phone off and shoved it into the pocket of his jacket. "I'm the youngest of the group of us. They worry about me." "I see. Sounds like a good bunch." "They are. A bit clingy sometimes, but good people." She ran her hand along his leg, starting at his knee and working up to his thigh. "So where were we?" She could see the bulge in his jeans getting larger and it excited her to know that she was making him feel this way.
He pulled her close again and kissed her fiercely, passionately. "Right here." His hands shifted to find their way under her sweater and she shivered slightly at the feeling of his cold fingers running along her back. "Maybe we should go somewhere a bit more private." she whispered in his ear. "How about my hotel?" She knew what the implications of going there could mean for him. He started to lick her ear and she felt almost all rational thought slip from her. "My place is not too far away, how about there instead?" she gasped. They both stood and adjusted their clothing. "I hope it's not too far, I don't think I can wait too much longer." His blue eyes stared at her longingly. "No, I know what you mean, it's just down the street." He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and held her close as they started walking. "Is there a drugstore on the way?" She looked at him in surprise. "Yes, why?" "I think we might need some supplies to get us through the night." "Maybe this would be a better place." she grinned with delight, as she pulled him into an adult pleasure shop.
