For Better Or Worse

~~~~Chapter Five~~~~
"Up you go!" One of the guards pushed her on the bus and guarded the door until Nick climbed on a few minutes later, with Billy on his heels.
"The fans are really wild, aren't they?" Jessica put her arm around Nick's shoulder as she glanced out the window.
"Don't touch me!" He shoved her arm away roughly.
Jessica looked at him in confusion, tears springing to her eyes.
"What?"
"I mean, wait until we are away from the fans, alright? You don't need them on your ass this soon. When we get on the road you can touch me all you want." Nick smirked at her and moved to the front of the bus. The engine started and Nick stuck his head out the slightly open door, waving and smiling happily until they left the lot. "You'd think they have something better to do than wait in a damn parking lot for a bus to leave." Nick threw himself down on the sofa and patted the space beside him. "Come here Jess." She stood and moved to sit primly beside him. "C'mon!" Nick laughed and pulled her onto his lap. "What's wrong?"
"I'm just nervous, I've never done anything like this before."
"Don't be nervous. Just stick with me and I'll show you the ropes, okay?" Jessica nodded and relaxed into him. Nick kissed her cheek and licked a line to her neck, pausing to nibble on it.
"I'm so glad you decided to come with me. I think we can be so good together."
She lifted her head to return his kiss. "I think so too." They continued kissing, Nick moving his hands under her shirt and stroking her breasts. After a few moments Jessica sat up and laughed, pushing him away gently.
"Do you want to watch a movie or something? What kind of movies do you like?" she asked.
"I'm kinda tired, I think I'll go to bed." Nick smiled at her, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.
"Oh, alright." She had been hoping to just relax with him, maybe talk a bit, but if he wanted to sleep that was okay. After all, they had the rest of the tour to get to know each other. "It must be exhausting doing all that dancing and singing, I can understand if want to sleep." she commented as she stood and stretched. "Maybe I'll watch some tv."
"Baby girl, I'm going to bed and you're coming with me. Unless you want to do it right here?" He raised an eyebrow quizzically. "I ain't that tired!"
Jessica awoke sometime in the early morning. The bus was still so they must have reached their destination. She crept out of bed and pulled on a shirt of Nick's before walking painfully to the front of the bus. Her whole body was aching. They had sex almost every possible way the night before, she had only got to sleep about 2 hours before she awoke, much to her frustration.
"Had a good night, Miss?" The driver turned his head to smile at her. "Pretty loud, you were!"
Jessica blushed. "I'm sorry, we'll try to keep it down."
"Never mind, I've heard worse, trust me! I used to drive for some of those heavy metal groups. They're a fun bunch!"
Jessica smiled. "I would imagine so! Where are we?" She looked out the window to see a small roadside restaurant and a group of people milling around sipping coffee.
"We stopped for refreshments and a bit of a rest. I brought mine back up here." She nodded and looked out the window again. "We should be moving again soon, maybe you can get some more sleep then."
Someone was waving at her, from the group scattered around the parking lot. Her sleepy head couldn't work out who it was until he climbed on the bus.
"Hey Jess!"
"Oh Kevin! Good morning!"
"How was the first bus sleep?" Kevin asked, rolling his eyes at her.
"I didn't get much sleep actually." She grinned at him. "Maybe when we get rolling I can try and get back to sleep."
"Nick keep you up all night?"
"Actually more like Nick was up all night! I'm so sore!"
"He hurt you?" Kevin had a look of alarm on his face.
"No really, we just...you know...I'm fine."
Nick walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her possessively.
"Morning Babe." Nick kissed her, shoving his tongue in her mouth roughly.
"Hey Kev, don't you have anything better to do than harrass my girl?"
"Don't you think you should put some clothes on?"
"What's the matter Kev? Jealous?"
Nick smirked and bent his head to Jessica, concern on his face
"Was he bothering you, Jess?" He kissed her cheek, letting one hand fall and cup her breast through the thin shirt.
"Oh no, Nick. He just came to say good morning."
"Good morning Kev!" Nick pasted on a big fake smile and hugged Jessica tighter to his chest.
"Looks like we're ready to roll folks! You staying with us Kevin?" The bus driver turned to look at the little group, not blinking an eye at Nick's nakedness.
"Nope, I'm gone. See you later guys." Kevin waved and jogged down the bus steps
Jessica gave a small wave and a bright smile. Nick just glared.
The entourage of buses pulled up to the front of the hotel. "Okay Jess." said Nick, as he pulled a white sweatshirt over his head. "Billy and I go out first, then someone will come back and get you and the other girls, got it?" Jessica watched him secure a bandanna over his tousled hair.
"Why can't I just come with you?"
Nick sighed and flopped down beside her on the sofa. "The fans Jess, the fans." Her took her hand and stroked the back of it with his thumb. "I would love for you to come with me, but it's just less of a hassle if you don't."
"But they'll notice me coming off your bus." she protested.
"Yeah." he paused. "You're my sister's friend, okay? Her best friend and we picked you up in the last city, your hometown." Jessica rolled her eyes. "Look, it'll work okay? They don't care about you anyway, unless you're with me. So just pretend you aren't, got it?" She was taken aback by his bluntness.
"When can we be together in front of the fans?"
Nick pulled his backpack over his shoulder and started down the stairs. "I'll let you know."
One of the guards returned about 45 minutes later to retrieve Jessica and AJ's girlfriend. "Hey, I'm Laurie, nice to meet you!" The petite brunette stuck out her hand and greeted Jessica warmly. "Crazy isn't it?" she waved her hand to gesture out the window. "You'll get used to it though."
"How long have you been with AJ?" The guard shoved them through the throng of screaming fans to the front door.
"About 3 months now, I think, close to that. Time kind of loses all meaning if you know what I mean, when you're on tour." Jessica nodded.
"Laurie, can I have your autograph?" a young girl screeched beside them.
"Sure honey." She took the paper and pen and scribbled something hastily. "Love Lar, AJ's girl."
"Who are you?" The girl pointed at Jessica. "You were on Nick's bus."
"I'm his sister's friend." she smiled as she repeated the lie.
"Yeah sure." An older girl appeared behind the younger one. "Which one?" "Which...one?" Jessica looked to Laurie for assistance. Laurie just shrugged and plowed through the crowd. "Slut!" The girl jeered at her.
"Let's go honey!" The guard picked her up and carried her through the crowd and into the relative safety of the hotel.
"So how was it?" Nick was sprawled on the bed watching "The Simpsons".
"Terrible!" Jessica tossed her bag to the floor. "One girl called me a slut."
"They saw you get off the bus, huh?" She nodded.
"It gets better." he assured her.
"Hope so." She laid down beside him on the bed. "I love this episode!" Nick wrapped his arms around her as she rested her head on his shoulder.
"You like cartoons?"
"Oh yeah, South Park, Simpsons, Powerpuff Girls..."
"Powderpuff Girls, what the hell?" He laughed. "Hey, did you have to use the story I gave you to get through the fans?"
"Oh yeah." Jessica sat up on her knees and placed her hands on her hips, trying to keep a straight face. "Just how many sisters do you have, buster?"
