For Better or Worse

~~~~Chapter 4~~~~
Jessica looked around her apartment in dismay. She had no idea what to pack or how long she would be gone. "Why am I doing this?" she wailed to the empty rooms. She had decided that she would tour with Nick. He was right, it was the only way to get to know each other and something about him captured her. She wanted to know more about him, wanted to be with him, wanted to love him. She had talked with her boss and he reluctantly gave her 2 months off, 2 weeks with pay upfront.
"We could really use you around here, Jess, but it's about time someone took ahold of your heart."
The owner of the bar, her boss, was her father. He didn't really approve of her running around the country with an almost total stranger, but, once she explained the situation, he understood. Her sister was taking the apartment while she was gone and her parents were looking after her cat. Jessica finally tossed some clothes into her suitcase, checked her wallet and picked up her phone.
"Hello? Is this Nick?"
"Jess?"
He tossed a triumphant smile around the room. She was coming with him. He had known. What woman could resist him, really? He could ooze charm when he wanted to. Nick told her where to meet them and walked out of the room to inform security about the soon arriving guest.
"Little bugger knew she would say yes." Howie said, in an amazed voice.
"I thought he would wait awhile, after all the hurt Heather put him through." Brian mused.
"Well you know what they say." AJ said sagely, as he adjusted his jacket. "If you fall off, get back on and try again."
"At least she doesn't look exactly like Heather." Howie said pointedly, to AJ.
"What's that supposed to mean, shrimp?" AJ lunged at Howie, but he ducked out of the way.
AJ had chosen a new girlfriend recently that was nearly identical to his ex and anyone pointing that fact out to him had to know how to run fast. AJ didn't see the similarities and got very touchy when the subject was brought up.
"What's this girl like Kevin? You've meet her." Brian prompted, trying to divert AJ's attention.
"She's very sweet, I'm not sure if she knows what she is in for."
"Does she like Nick for Nick? Or did she seem dazzled by his fame?"
"No, she didn't really know who we were at first. I think she likes Nick for Nick."
"Good." Brian breathed out in relief. "Maybe she will calm him down some."
Jessica arrived at the end of the concert. She knocked on the door at the back of the arena that Nick had told her to come to.
"You Miss Birch?" The large man looked down at her and she nodded. "Where's your stuff? Carter told us you were staying for awhile." His gaze made her nervous.
"It's in the car." She pointed to the lot.
"Somebody picking that car up for you? You don't want to leave it here."
"Yes, my sister and father, later tonight."
"Good." He took her elbow and pulled her into the building. "What's the password?"
"Password?" Nick didn't mention a password on the phone. "I don't know..."
The man laughed. "Just teasing. No password. Let's go!" He led her down the hall and into the dressing room area. "Nick's changing. This here is Billy." Jessica shook the unsmiling man's hand. "He looks after Nick and now, you." He showed Jessica to a chair. "You wait here and someone will get your luggage onto Nick's bus. What type of car you driving?" Jessica told him the make of her car and her license number as she handed over the keys. She watched the people milling around the backstage area.
"Are all these people on tour with the guys?"
"Every last one." someone answered.
"Wondering how you are going to spend any time with him?" Jessica looked at the pretty blonde woman that sat beside her. "You're Jessica right, Nick's new girl?"
She nodded.
"I'm Leighanne, Brian's wife."
Jessica smiled and shook her hand. "It seems like he will never have any time." she said as she looked around again.
"He can't stop talking about you, he'll make time for you, I promise." Leighanne smiled and stood up. "He should be out in a minute, here comes Brian."
Awhile later, Jessica was still waiting for Nick to come out of his dressing room. The rest of the group were waiting in the meeting area.
"Is he always this late?"
"Yeah, Nick can be a slowpoke when he wants to be." Brian poked her arm playfully. "Probably he's just making sure he looks his best for you."
Billy strode over to Nick's door. "Well, I'm going to get Mr America's ass in gear, we've got to haul out of here!"
Nick banged his head against the wall. "Oh shit girl! That's it! Suck me harder!" He tightened his fists in her long hair. "Oh yeah!" He felt his knees going weak, just before his orgasm made his whole body shudder in ecstacy. The teenager on her knees before him licked every drop from his dying erection.
"What the hell are you doing Carter?"
Nick looked at the older man in surprise. "What does it look like?" He pulled the girl to her feet. "Thanks babe, you can go now." The girl looked shocked.
"That's it?"
"Sorry babe. I gotta go. It was good, really." Nick fastened his pants and started gathering his stuff up.
"Sorry hun, you'll have to wait here until we're gone."
Nick looked at his guard. "She can leave now. We're done."
"Nickolas." Billy turned the younger man around to face him. "Jessica Birch is out there waiting for you."
Nick grabbed his walkman from the chair. "Jess? Oh shit, I forgot!" The teenager moved her head from man to man, unsure of what to do. "You." Nick pointed at her. "You need to stay here until I'm gone. Do not move. Understand?" She nodded and sat in the chair, watching Nick and the man throw his items into his bags.
"I'm tired of cleaning up after you Carter, you're a big boy now." Billy groused.
"But you love me, right?" Nick smiled at him.
"Yeah, yeah, something like that." Satisfied they had everything, they knocked to signal they were leaving the room.
"Nick!" the teenager called out.
"Be a good girl now and wait until we're gone." Nick shook his finger at her.
"But Nick, I love you!"
"Thanks alot babe! Gotta go!"
