Shin
Shin, the main character of the story. He feels as if he is the only one in the world that knows about the parasites (it sure seems like he is the only one that knows). He takes it apon himself to get rid of all the other parasites. He also has a great reguard for Human Life
Lefty
Lefty is the parasite that took over Shins arm. He is considered not very smart by the other parasites because of his mistake in taking over the arm instead of the brain. But on the contrary Lefty spends most of his time studying out of books that he has shin pick up in the library. Since he did not take over shins brain he is now just trying to survive and learn more about the complex human society.
Tamara is a special case when it comes to parasites instead of being totally oblivious to everyone else she kills in seacret and tries to learn as much as she can about these interesting humans.
Tamara Rockford
Mr. A
Mr. A is a parasite that just does his own thing he is not in a search for knowledge like Lefty or Tamara. He will do what he wants no matter how obvious it is to the humans. This comes in especially when he attacks the school in broad daylight just to kill Shin.

Mr. Udo
Mr. Udo is a very sensitive man that crys at pretty much anything that happens that is remotely sad. He is also in the same boat as Shin his parasite didn't take over the brain either it ended taking over the lower part of the face.
