Straight to the reviews
This is a list of Anime, Manga, and Artwork that I have seen. My marking system is different but I think that most people will be able to understand it. The marking system includes an overall make which is broken down into six categories; Animation, Storyline, Artwork, Plot, Soundtrack, and Voicing. Also included is a brief summary of notes and thoughts that I have on the particular Anime/Manga.
Warning System:
Lower Case = mild or very little
CAPITAL LETTER = Strong to excessive
G - General (Everyone)
PG - Parental Guidance (it is advised that a parent should preview before showing to children)
14+ - Ages 14 or older (Is recommended for people that are 14 or older) PG13
16+ - Ages 16 or older (Is recommended for people that are 16 or older) AA
18+ - Ages 18 or older (Is recommended for people that are 18 or older) R
X - Adults Only (Anything that would be illegal for a minor to view. I will not write these reviews, however, if someone prepares one and the review is of good quality and appears to be creditable I will post it on the site. !!!No inapproperate screen shots!!!)
Rating System:
>_< = (WTF) The fact that it's so bad may upset you!. (worst of all time)
1/2 = Should be erased from existance.
* = HORRIBLE!!!!! & 1/2 = Really Bad!!
** = Not Worth It. & 1/2 = Bareable
*** = Average & 1/2 = Good
**** = Very Good & 1/2 = Exellent
***** = Top of the Line
5+ = HOLY CRAP!!!!! (Best Ever)
Animation - The animation part of the marking has to do with, how well the animation flows from frame to frame. Also how detailed scenes art, whether they me fast paced (ie. High Action.), or slow. (ie slow-motion.) This category also takes into account, the "camera angles" and the setting etc. (We all know there isn't really a camera in animation.)
Storyline - This category applies to how well the story flows. (ie. do you have a clear understanding of what is going on at all times.) This category also takes into consideration how well the story portrays and relates to the plot and the theme.
Artwork - This Score is has to do mainly with how well it is drawn. It takes into account the characters, the foreground, and the background. This category is fairly difficult to mark, because different styles are used by different artists and different genres (ie. comedy vs. horror.) and what one person finds please another may find discusting. I will try to provide atleast one screen shot from the title on the right hand side of the Synopsis.
Plot - The Plot of the story is really just that. The story and how well it is told. If you re considering to watch an anime, or read a manga, don't let this category influnce your decision because how much you you enjoy the plot is determined by your own personal preferences. (personally I like Action, Adventure, Fantasy, and Si-Fi so this category may be a little bias.)
Soundtrack - The quality of the sound, music and sound FX. this category is fairly straight forward.
Voicing - This category has to do with how well the movie is/was voiced/dubed. this category is also fairly straight forward.
