It is believed that Thomas Edison collaborated in the production of this classic, historical film of the Rapids and the Whirlpools. The plaque that hangs in the White Water Daredevil Hall of Fame alongside the rapids on the Canadian side of the Gorge reads: "1933 - Kondrat, William, July 17 (accidentally) swept into the rapids while attempting to swim the river.
