Vocational Training Workshop for Special Adolescents 2002

Organised by Persatuan Sindrom Down Malaysia (PSDM)   27th.July 2002 (8.30 am - 3.30 pm)   Auditorium Fizik Jabatan Fizik Fakulti Sains, Universiti Malaya   The vocational training workshop aims at bringing together parents, those involved directly or indirectly with special adolescents, to discuss the latest trends and issues in vocational training.   Theme of Workshop Enhancing the quality of life of Down Syndrome individuals through appropriate vocational training.   Objectives To create awareness among participants on current vocational training available in Malaysia. To share experiences of other NGO's in setting up of vocational training centers in Malaysia. To brainstorm ideas on the appropriate vocational training based on needs assessment of DS individuals. To produce a resolution at the end of the workshop to be presented to the relevant authorities.   Who should attend this workshop Parents, educators, those involved in vocational training for special adolescents are invited to attend this workshop.       Registration Fees RM25.00 Member RM50.00 Non-member   Registration fees will cover workshop materials, lunch and refreshments.
