The Author

I am mother to Muhammad Amin bin Ridzuan, our first child in the family. He is a healthy and adorable toddler who happened to be born with Down Syndrome. Both my husband and I have a career background in the IT industry. Quite recently, we've made a big decision in our lives. After 5 years working in the industry, I decided to take a break in my career and become a stay-at-home mother and we moved abroad. I have found a very interesting area to explore - parenting! Being a new parent to a child with special needs has introduced me to an entirely new and special dimension of knowledge and learning. Amin has certainly teaches me with so many aspect of life that we sometimes take them for granted. I hope to be able to share this experience with other parents of children with special needs around Malaysia, and perhaps around the world too! Currently we're living in California. Insyallah when the time comes, we hope to go home. Meanwhile feel free to write to me and share your thoughts and opinions.
