Rainy Day
I stand outside as it begins to pour, the weather much like how I feel inside. I love the rain, love the feel of its cold caress and the peace it brings to me. The water drops hit me, fall on my face, and blend in with the tears that stream from my eyes. As I walk through misery I think of you, and how you love the rain like me. I think of all the fun we had together, how right now I wish I was walking in the rain with you. And for the briefest of moments I'm happy again, and the rain turns to tears of joy. Then I remember what's happened since you left, and again the rain turns into tears of sorrow. I think about how you've treated me, how you've taken advantage of my feelings for you. I should be mad at you, mad at what you've done. But God, I love you too much to get mad at you. So I walk on in the rain, by myself. And someday I hope you'll walk with me.

Color Scheme
Rainbow patterns flow through my mind, bringing a clear and concise picture with each color. Peaceful times with clear skies roll around while the soul is clear. A desolate and destroyed park is in tattered ruins when the soul is tarnished. A clear waterfall with sparkling water and crystalline clarity when sensations are calm. A misty haze that the eyes cannot penetrate when confusion reigns upon the soul. Yet some colors do not have a dream attached to them, their paltry existence are there only to tantalize the best days and nights of the wearer's dreams. Red-hot fire lines his dreams with thoughts of mad intent. Icy cold lances shoot through his waking mind to bring him to a startling realization. Yet his rainbow of thoughts always brings him back to the way his soul should truly be. A white-hot incandescence that shines through everything to denounce the darkness and show its radiance to the world.

You
It doesn't matter where you are, or what we're doing. So long as I'm with you. Your face makes any scene lovely, and moment special. That's not something any person can do. We don't have to talk, we don't have to touch. Just being with you makes me smile. All we've gone through, all the pain. Suddenly becomes worthwhile. An eternity wouldn't be long enough, to spend with you. I cherish every second like it might be our last. You're the only one I want, you're the only one I need. With you I'll share future, present, and the past.

A Child's Delight
A child's delight brings about new passion. Torment and sorrow fade as beautiful ideology flits through his mind. Power and ambition coalesce into a bright, shiny point. His new love embellishes the near depression of before. His heart opens and he sees his new goal in plain sight. The untold amounts of energy springing from his thoughts overwhelm all those around him. His love is profound yet unbridled. Eyes see but mind does not comprehend. His soul is in turmoil. His passions entangled, the only salvation lies in truth.
