My
name is Li Jiang, a first year graduate student in biology department
of Columbia University. Before this, I spent my entire life
(not that long, just 22 years)in Nanjing, a Chinese city teeming
with trees and history.
New
York City is utterly unique. The sights, the smells, the sounds-there
is nothing like it in the world. Actually, there is nothing
even compares...Deeply inside I have a very strong feeling to
share something with you besides those insipid adjectives, like
crazy, crowded, frenetic, chaotic, harrowing… So I chose
photography. Let the pictures tell you about the city in the
way I can't.
Now after two weeks' ceaseless struggle (not to mention the
time I spent getting around the city and shooting those pictures),
my dream has finally been realized, at least, partially. Now
I invite you to join this adventure. In the end, it will be
you, every visitor of this site, instead of me to make this
dream come big.
