The HDCD family of CD and
DVD storage systems gives you the fastest possible disc based network storage at a very
affordable price. Highly reliable, the HDCD and HDDVD Servers attach to a network
through a single Ethernet or Token Ring cable. The unit installs in less than ten
minutes without network downtime and supports networks running IPX, IP and TCP/IP
protocols, as well as Internet and Intranet environments. Once connected, the system
broadcasts itself as a Windows NT or Novell server giving an unlimited number of users
immediate access to the data. Almost any client type is supported including; DOS,
Win 3.x, '95, '98, NT, OS/2 and Novell. The system uses hard disk caching to provide
data transfer speeds of up to 15 MB per second and access times as low as 8.5ms. The
system interface is so user friendly that individuals with no knowledge of networks or
mapping titles can begin accessing data immediately. These systems are available in
SCSI and IDE models with up to 128 megabytes of RAM and high performance drives. Our HDCD servers come configured to hold from 7 to 80+
CD-ROMs. The HDDVD servers are just as
robust as the HDCD servers and hold from 7 to 28 DVD-ROMs. Both the HDCD and HDDVD
servers come in an IDE version which offers the same high performance but at a lower cost.
