Soul smoothly blends R&B, Hip-Hop, Funk, Pop, Jazz, Rock, Reggae and Traditional Gospel to create a style that is completely his own. The resulting sound is sometimes very "Old School" and at times very progressive. The Bible says to let YOUR light so shine before men that they will see YOUR works and glorify the Father. We all have our own light, given to us by God. Each one is different than any other. Each person has a specific "work" or call that can only be done by them through the power of God. And as for all of those different styles of music... They all belong to God and "IT'S ALL GOOD!"
All of the music that Soul Writes is from the heart and deals with very personal experiences and personal convictions. The worship ballads unto the Lord and the lyrically rich songs of encouragement are full of things that you have longed to express yourself.
