Jalessa Justice Jasmine

Stuffing her face! The first thing to know about Jalessa is
that the way to her heart is through her stomach. She adores all kinds
of food, and I almost always see her eating. She has expensive taste,
and every so often will splurge on one$300 lobster! She's also
a choco-holic, and can't say enough good things about Mrs. Li's potato salad.
Jalessa's life began in a town in New Jersey on April 22, 1975 to her Jewish
father and Catholic mother (Little known fact here: her dad was also
from a mixed marriage, his mom being Jewish and dad being Catholic.) Jalessa
has had inner (and some outer) conflicts with choosing her religion for a
number of years, which is a pity because I think it could've done her some
good in her early life. Two years ago she finally chose Unitarian Universalism,
which seems to be working for her pretty well.
Ignoring her mother's pleading, Jalessa left home after
high school to study to be a lawyer in Boston. Both she and her mother
went a little loopy after Jalessa's dad died when she was 12 (and not to mention
a whole bunch of other people that Jalessa was close to, but that's something
I don't have too many details about). Since Jalessa left her home in
anger at her mother, the two never spoke again. When Jalessa finally
returned home to make amends with her mother, she was nowhere to be found.
She later found out that her mother had a baby (Dakota, now age 8,
living in the Philippines) and killed herself.
Meanwhile, back in Boston, Jalessa moved into a new apartment
with her boyfriend of 4 years (whom she lost her virginity to when she was
19) -- but then he killed himself too.
Jalessa says they were "unoficially engaged" and blames
herself for his death because she was "unoficially cheating" on him with Datura,
and another man she won't name. Apparently, her guilt didn't stop her
from leaving Boston with this nameless man and moving to New Jersey where
she and Datura both got jobs at the Singing Company.
She and Datura were together for 6 months, and then on
again off again for another six. The two never had sex, though Jalessa
badly wanted to. . . But that's another story, and if Datura wasn't
fired from the Singing Company in Spring of 2002, I'd have a page up for him
too and I could explain it! Anyway, Jalessa and Datura did do lots of
druggy type things together, and it turned out Jalessa had been fighting a
major drug addiction for years. After she was sent to a mental institution
two years ago, after shooting Datura in an alley behind a bar and being found
guilty (wait, that's another story too) -- she got clean and so far has been
so good.
Though Jalessa is sex-obsessed and claims she "wants
to taste everyone in the world," has reportedly given oral sex to every
boy at her high school, has a vibrator she uses nearly every night (that she
named Earl! And writes letters to in her journal!), and comes on to
nearly everyone, male or female -- she has only slept with six people. The
most recent being Mulan, a former member of the MN Singing Company, J.T.
a former member of the NJ Singing Company (and who was dating Autumn at the
time) and Ari -- who hasn't left the NJ SC yet, but seeing as how Jalessa's
history has been, I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.
Her best friends are Chernon, his mother Kira Li, Moses
Best, and Tori Chelsea. She is the god-mother of Chernon's little sister,
Marisol, who was named for Jalessa's own mother. (Jalessa's mother and
Chernon's mother went to nursing school together. And often swapped
husbands. But that is also a story for another page I wish I had! There's
so much to tell!)
