Jonathan Crombie in "Anne Of Green Gables"

This is where the world met Jonathan Crombie for the first time.
This is the scene in "Anne of Green Gables" where Anne is at
The church picnic. Diana and She joins in on a three legged
race and is winked at by the Handsome Gilbert Blythe.

For Gilbert it was love at first sight. In a plan that worked all
to well, Gilbert tried to get the attention of Anne Shirley.
He decided the best way was to pull her long red braid
while calling her Carrots. He definately got her attention.
That and a slate smashed on his head.




Josie Pye though graced with a dance with her ideal man. His
eyes where for someone else. Need I tell you who.

Anne while playing the Lily Maid. Sank Mr. Barry's Dorry
and had to climb on a piling of the bridge. Gilbert finding her
in this situation rescued her. He asked her to forgive
him for the making fun of her. They finally become friends.




This is my favorite part. This is when Gilbert gives up his
position at the Avonlea school, so Anne can have it.



I hope I didn't ruin the movie for anyone. I hope that everyone
who hasn't seen the movie will go out and see it. It is a
wonderful movie. My all time favorite!!
