Background: Ryan was born in Oklahoma two years before Treize Khushrenada took command of the enigmatic OZ organization. He and his family managed to survive through the wars that followed and by the end of AC 195 his ideological parents took them into hiding to begin work on a secret organization, using the Blackwolf family fortune. Ryan grew up in a very unconventional home. His parents, much too busy with their organization, pushed Ryan and his soon to be siblings off on employees to be trained in the various arts of combat necissary to maintain their dreams and goals. Ryan grew at the forefront of this.

In the year AC 200 The Blackwolfs brought Ryan along to observe a business meeting among their various investors. At this business meeting, a trap had been set and before Ryan's eyes his parents were gunned down by the Preventers, having been percieved as a threat for some time now. Ryan swore revenge upon the Preventers for such an act. He continued his training and at the age of 16 inherrited the Hell's Crusader Gundam, as well as the responsibility for the entirety of his parents organization; Neverwinter Corps.

Durring the Preventer Wars (206-209) Ryan accomplished much worthy of praise. The most prestigous was defeating the Guerillas that had waged war in AC 195 on OZ. The dreaded "Gundam Pilots" in a two-to-one match, Ryan and his wingman Neo Draconis eliminated four of five gundam pilots from his face... permanently. Over the next year, The war would rage on before Ryan finally agreed to a Peace Treaty. The AC 209 Treaty of Brussels made the Preventers a Protectorate of Neverwinter Corps, and Legalized Ryan's holds on various strategic locations on the face of the planet.

Over time Ryan found his life unfullfilling and soon retired Neverwinter Corps and disappeared into civilian life, only to be approached by Andrew Strife, CEO of the Harbringer Force. He offered Ryan the opportunity to run his military. Ryan took advantage of this, and eventually turned it to his own gain, taking half of Strife's forces from him when political reasons forced him to resign and rebuild his former organization.
