[The whole school gathers in the school auditorium one year has passed since the murder of Miriam Amitai who had been the history and geography teacher.  Her picture and so forth can, I'm sure, be found on the internet]

Girl wearing a white shirt walks onto the stage in the auditorium in front of the entire Ulpana.  She reads a beautiful poem about Miri.  By the time she finishes most girls are weeping.

Girl finishes reading the poem, weeping, and is escorted back to her seat by a teacher.  The teacher's arm is around the girl.  The auditorium is very quiet broken only by the sound of gentle sobbing.  The Rav, the head of the Ulpana, goes to the front to give a speech.
Suddenly a Boom!   Absolute chaos breaks out!  Girls are screaming, teachers try to restore order several girls are hystericaleveryone starts moving away from the windows and down to the floor, under the tables
After a bit, when stuff are a bit calmer, three security people arrive.

1st security man: "everybody.  Calm down."
His voice is crisp and authoritive
"One mortar has fallen about 300 feet away from this building.  Luckily, it landed in the lawn which absorbed most of the shrapnel.  More mortars may fall still.  Is anyone hurt?"
Silence.  Everyone is staring at him.
"No?  Good."

2nd security man:  "This building is not mortar- proof.  I want you all to run in pairs to the school bomb shelter.  Now!"

Everyone leaves the stage in pairs running.  Some look scared, some crying and some are just really excited.
