Yeah, he did. Well, at least metaphorically. Ed did pretty much
whatever he felt like doing and he didn't give a damn what anyone else
thought.
People used to laugh at him driving around in his aged and battered
sickly green Fiat 124, but he didn't care. He'd wipe the smiles off their
faces by doing something insane and physically impossible like shooting
past them on the inside of a bend with J. J. Cale blaring out the speakers
of the ghettoblaster he'd wired to the car's electrics.
Then there was the time Eddy, Gary and two others nearly got machine-
gunned to death at an RUC roadblock at the border... but that's another
