Who is Paul?

Paul is a wonderful man who comes from the far away country of England. He's 32 years old now but is much younger at heart. He works hard to take very good care of his family. He works with CNC machines and is now the *Plant Manager* at his company.

Paul has many interests, and one of them is woodworking. For our home he's made a huge wall unit, and a couple of wall shelves for our living room and kitchen. Unfortunately, he doesn't have all the tools he would like (he's been hinting at a router for quite some time now) so his projects are limited.

He is also a great cook and can whip up a terrific dinner with an empty refrigerator. Cooking seems so easy for him and his meals are always delicious. Anybody who knows him knows how he can put together a great tasting meal off the top of his head. Kayla loves the lamb he cooks and is guaranteed to eat anybody under the table when that is on the night's menu.

But his greatest passion, like most Europeans and some North Americans is soccer/football. He played for most of his life, and now watches it religiously every Saturday morning. His favorite team is Manchester United, who are not playing at their best, but are doing well. For the past 2 summers, he's played recreational soccer with a group of men in our town. It's very laid back, but he enjoys the exercise and company. He had both the kids kicking a ball around soon after they learned to walk, so it's probably safe to say that football will be around in our family for a while.

Finally, Paul is generous and very kind. He's great company and funny, he can always make me laugh. Don't tell anyone but he's a softie underneath the rugged exterior, and we love him a lot. :0)
