About Us
I suppose you could say we began on August 30, 1997, because that's the day Paul and I met. We met at a club in downtown Toronto, and we've barely been apart since then. We've always gotten along really well, and in April 98 he took me on vacation to his home in England. It was a wonderful trip, but a little overwhelming because I'd never been out of the country before.
Soon afterwards, we found out I was pregnant and expecting in February 1999. A lot of decisions had to be made, and at the end of it all, we bought an old Blazer and in December of '98 we moved into our very own house outside of Toronto. We're still close enough to the city that the drive for Paul into work isn't too long, but far enough away that we could go horseback riding in the country (if we wanted to that is!).
February came quickly, and before we knew it, we had a little tomato named Kayla Ann to contend with. It was VERY hard at first adjusting to the new little creature in our lives, but with patience and lots of love we found out she fit in quite well with us.
It wasn't long before we found out that Kayla was going to have a sibling, and in June of 2000, Ryan Antony joined our family. It's so wonderful to have both a little boy and girl in our lives, they are both unique and special in their own ways.
