Catavina Desert.

The most exotic area along the road #1 (of all we had seen) is Catavina Desert. It is somewhere between El Rosario and Guerrero Negro. Remarkable combination of large stones, cacti and other indigenous plants  generate strange and beautiful landscapes.

Me met a sunset on this part of the road.  Approaching Guerero Negro in a fog, we barely avoided hitting a group of cows. They were slowly crossing  the road. On our way back, around that place we had seen several cows eating cacti, haven't they grew wild? Near Guerero Negro we were stopped by so called agricultural inspection, In fact, this is a military post, in daytime they also represent immmigration authorities. They took away our apples, and for our own 10 pecos, they fumigated the tires.

We didn't see the city of Guerero Negro with its fisheries, famous saltwater evaporation lagoons and etc. Maybe, next time.
