Speaking
Here are some points about improving speaking ability: 1. Speaking seems to have close relationship with listening. Now consider this, when we were a baby, we only heard the words, gathering it. Normally, after around 9 months, we would begin to talk, even if it is `mama` or `papa`. Then, as we grew up, and added more words, we tried to speak up the words as what the others` speaking. This process repeatedly goes on and we are able to listen and talk much about many things using many words. My statement is, “when a person has gradually improved in listening skill of a spoken language, he/she might be able to improve his/her speaking ability, probably easier than if he/she has not improved in the listening skill.” 2. Alphabet pronunciation. In the beginning of learning a language, everyone should know and understand the basic `alphabet` and it phonetic. To increase, listening and speaking skill in English, one has to be able to pronounce basic English alphabet phonetic.
