Prologue

English is recognized as a common world communication language, even though many other languages are also commonly used for conversation in other countries, such as Chinese, French, Spanish and German.

Many countries encourage the schools to teach English to its students, even it is used as compulsory language in the study. For example, Malaysia and India, have English also as a secondary language.

Learning a foreign language is a good choice, especially English. Some people learn it because they want to work or study overseas in foreign countries such as in Britain (UK) or America (USA).

Some people learns because they want or need to read certain books that are not translated to their own language. For example, reading papers, journals, or scientific books,. Some other people, they learn English because they like the language. There would be many other reasons about why learning English.

Hmm.. honestly, for me, in the beginning, learning English was seriously very tiring as i didn`t really have talent or brain for language learning. I was really struggling to understand and improve my ability to master English.

But, i had a great desire to be able to read and understand books written in English, because there were so much information written in English that i could not get in Indonesian language.

In this website, i just cover my experiences mainly on improving listening and speaking skills. Even, maybe the information in the website is not for you because it might be too easy or you already know about it.

Although, there is still no given exercises, this webpage is about recommended guidances to improve those skills.

So.. please freely browse some hints on English at my simple web-pages where i share some of my experiences in learning English as a another language beside my national language.
