St. Edmundsbury

____________________________________________________________

AUGUST 2, 2002 Bury was the first place Kayla and I (Erin) visited. The Queen had visited in the month before so the Abbey gardens were very beautiful. We had a great time posing among the ruins and flowers taking our very artisitic photos.

The center of Bury is always a busy place; on Saturdays and Wednesdays it becomes even more so because of the market. Larger towns often have market days at least weekly, in which local vendors bring produce and other goods to sell. The Bury market has vegetables, fruit, flowers, crafts, tools, clothes, prepared food, with various other random booths interspersed.

To continue with the rest of our adventure, click on Bury St. Edmunds, Ely, Cambridge, Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Dublin.
