autumn

It was awhile after Jess and me had prepared for the eggs to hatch, when visions of a strange Cypris shattered my mind. I ignored it for a while but it never stopped. Finally, one Autumn night during the approch of the Cypris I went insane!
"I can't take it anymore! Stop it! Stop it!" I shouted clutching my head ready to rip it off.
"Laura! Laura! What's wrong?" Jess came running to me. She was as frightened as I was.
"The Cypris! It's trying to drive me insane! Stop it! Please stop it!" I continued to scream.
"Laura no one is here! There is only the Cypris eggs but no Cypris!"
Finally I was free of the torcher. When I settled, Jess asked me, "Laura are you okay? You had me scared out of my wits! What's wrong? Don't lie to me."
"I keep haveing visions..."
"What kind of visions?"
"They're of a Cypris, an adult. He aproches me and says 'I've been looking for you. Why haven't you tried?'"
"What does he look like?"
"He is unlike any of the regular Cypris. He has colors like red, orange and yellow, his eyes are a lovely shade of blue, on his tail is an inscription. But the strangest trait are the leaves."
"Leaves?"
It was then I relized that my heart was pounding, as though it was going to burst out of my chest. The last thing I knew was that I was unconcince. The next day my head ached and I could barely do anything. Later in the day my strength returned and I was raking the leaves outside when I thought the vision was coming.
"Laura..."
"What?" I asked. I looked up to learn that it wasn't the vision.
"Remember me?" It asked. I could barely see the figure. Once my vision was in place I saw the Cypris from the vision.
"Who are you!? Stop haunting me!" I cried to it.
"It's me... Autumn. You left me, awhile back. I've been contacting you spiritally."
"Autumn? I don't recall an... Autumn?" All of a sudden a new vision was in my mind. It was when I was either 5 or 7. I'm with a strange Cypris cub in a warm house. We're playing with a ball and my mom is baking brownies and other sweets. "Autumn... I remember now! Autumn!" I ran to him and threw my arms around him. I started to cry when Jess came out of the house.
"Laura.... I think I'm starting to see your visions!" She said shakily.
"No Jess. This is Autumn the Cypris from the visions. He's and old friend." Jess was alittle jelous. I suited Autumn in his own house next to Jess' and now we've got a new, exciting tag-a-long.
