As midnightflyer and me walked away from the cave I thought about what Jef said. I was extremely curios about what he meant by "you have alot to learn". I pondered, and pondered but never figured it out. Me and midnightflyer, anyway, had fun together. He loves to go up to the mountains and fly. We go to up there every 2 days. Though we spend time together alot he seems more interested in teen females and that is rather strange for his age. The next day I went to Jef to ask him about it.
"Really! Have you spent alot of time with him?" Asked Jef.
"Yes," I said. "Why do you ask?"
"Well as strange and young as he is, it only means one thing." Jef replied.
"What is that?"
"You see ...." he paused then continued."... You spent enough time with your dragon for it to become a teen."
"What?!!! You mean that he'll be with me less now than a baby?"
"He'll try to keep away from you when he sees a female but you need to be tougher with him and try to teach him how to read and talk."
"I'll try."
I walked away and when I saw midnightflyer. He was a full-fleg teen! "Happy B-Day Midnightflyer!" I said to him.
Over the weeks it was hard to teach him to talk and read but it got smoother once he learned these words: no,yes,cool,hot,nice,to, one two three..... and a few others.
