The ROM corruption is now gone! I found an IPS Patcher that works (thanks to ipsXP). As a result, I release (hopefully for the last time) the Pokemon Trading Card Game 2 Patch v.02delta. This patch should now get rid of the ROM corruption that has occured with my last 2 patches. If it doesn't, just use the Japanese ROM until after the starting point, save, then apply this delta patch.

In other news, I think this will be the last work I do for this game, not unless Jazz (1 l33t h4x0rz) gives me some stuff to do (or allows me to help his project some more). Yeah...so, unless something catastrophic happens, this project is on hiatus until further notice. However, I intend to now work on other games. What games? I haven't decided yet but I will soon. I've been on collaboration with some people and may start working with them on another game. Come back soon for updates.

*nervous laugh* It has been brought to my attention that my patch has a major bug in in it (has nothing to do with the cards). If one does not patch the right ROM, it will crash the ROM and well...*nervous laugh* i don't remember whether I created the patch off the right ROM. Well, it is fixed now--this time I made sure it worked (maybe I should have done that before I posted :D). Anyways, it should work now so if you have a defective patch, try downloading a new one. If it doesn't then...I have no idea.

Update as of 3:00p PSD: Apparently the gamma patch is defective too to a certain extent--although it is playable...at times, the game will appear to have been corrupted. The problem is after I make the IPS patch and then reapply that patch to the original, the original is not transformed completely into the new version (it is short some bytes). I have tried SNESTool and all the IPS patchers found at RPGd. If there is another IPS patcher or another way to patch ROMs, let me know by emailing me at [email protected].

A for warning, patches v.02beta or v.02gamma have bugs (some more severe than others)...you use them at your own risk. I will not be responsible for any harm it does to your computer.

Hoppy New Year (err...yeah). Anyways, there is now a new Pokemon Trading Card Game 2 Patch. Special thanks should be given to Jazz at 1 l33t h4x0rz for his work in doing 95% percent of this patch (this patch is based of his previous patches found at that website) and Alamedyang for his work in translating the cards of this game on his OWN time (I never asked him to do it) and releasing it for the public.

NOTE: This patch has no relation to my patch. As I said, 95% of the work found in the patch I have just released was done by Jazz at 1 l33t h4x0rz. All I have truly done is inserted the translation of all the cards. I have released this patch with the feeling that if one can't understand the game, one should still know at least something in the game.

Heh...first update in a really long time. However, during the past few months, the project has been lagging since my japanese is really bad. :( Forunately, however, thanks to the work of one individual, I have a surprise in store for you people that will make the game a little easier to play. ^_^

You will have to wait though...as I finish up the final details. Expect an update in three days. ;)

Shut down for two years and now we're back. Um...more like I'm back. Anyways, I'm proud to announce a new translation project and this time, the game does not appear to be released in English anytime soon. This new project is for Pokemon Card Game 2: Great Rocket Visit! Currently right now, all font tiles have been converted and the 95% of the menus and all of the introduction have been translated. Unfortunately, my japanese is not very good and I used a dictionary to translate much of the introduction. As a result, the introduction may be somewhat accurate for the most part.

Since I'm the only one working on this project, updates may be sporadic. So please be patient with me. If you are willing to help, please email me at [email protected]. Right now I'm in big need of a couple of translators because of language problem but I'll take anyone.
