| Go to your shop by clicking here. The shop is the best way to make money buy selling things to the public. Always price items using the shop wizard NEVER USE THE ESTIMATED VALUE. You get 300 searches an hour. Price about about 2-10 neopoints lower then the lowest price. Sometimes it's best to average the top three lowest prices and price a little under the average. Make sure to reload the results of the shop wizard. This is important because sometimes things are cheaper in other parts of the market. For example, geopeppers were going for well over four-thousand, so I priced them for much lower then that, But it never sold. I check the shop wizard again and the price was still over four-thousand, but when I refreashed the page, in another part of the market, geopeppers were selling for only 25. |
| Graphics Many people like having fancy graphics, music and deluxe backrounds, even scrolling text, in their shops. But if you ever noticed, when you go to these shops, they take FOREVER to lpad, especially if you are just using a 56K modem, as many of us do. I only have a limited time on the computer, so I'mnot going to waste 10 minutes to load a single page. Long times usually discourage people from staying long enough to shop. As a general rule, I stop loading the page after 5-10 seconds when it looks like it may never finish. So a picture here or there won't hurt, just don't overdo it. |

| Go to the auction by clicking here. The auction is great for buying items for cheap. Sometimes you can find a great deal. But of course there is a downside to the auction. When you bid on something, you have to keep going back and making sure no one out bids you. This is also good when you are assigned a faerie quest and you odn't have the shop wizard open. Just use the auction genie. Watch for timing. For example, if you wanted to get an item for a timed quest that's going to expire in an hour, don't waste time bidding on something that won't be closed for a day or two. |

| The Trading Post |
| Go to the trading post by clicking here. This is a great feature if you would like items instead of neopoints. This is especially great if you have an unbuyable item, something worth over 100,000np and you can therefore not sell it in you shop and make a profit When you get a bid, it will show up in you event box. Check the prices with the shop wizard of every item in the bid. Know how much your lot is worth. If you bid is worth much more than you lot, then you should probably accept the bid. Commonly the bid is nowhere near the amount of you lot, so you may end up rejecting may bids. Just use the browse feature to find items for quests and the such, especially when doing a faerie quest and you can't use the shop wizard. It's best to trade while you are online playing enopets, because then you can quickly accept and reject bids before anyone has a chance to take back bids. When you sign off neopets, put trading items in your shop, then people can buy while you are off and there will be a special present waiting in your shop till when you get back on. |
| Shopping The shop restock times for the neopian shops are random. At these random times you can buy items from these shops, and you can haggle the price and the such. Because the times are random, if you go to a shop and it has restocked, you will have a better chance of getting the item. TIP FOR HAGGLING: Since you are racing against other players who are also bidding for the same item, I suggest being the fasted typer. In order to do this, when bidding: If the price is 49, I would do 44, as that is easiest to type. If the price was 131, I would try 123, and so forth. |
