Southeast/Central Regional - Lancaster
The Central/Southeast region is weakened considerably by the departure of Barnesville to Div. II for track season.  Fredericktwon is hte top returner with a 10:12 from last season.  The team returns 3 of 4 runners with Laura Elder, Katrina Lizanich, and Jenny Bloomquist.  Lost is senior anchor Kelly Foster.  Look for senior Jenny Ice to fill the available slot.  Newark Catholic behind senior Amy Williams will likely grab a spot as well.  Martins Ferry could contend behind Amy Bruney and Katrina Jones.  After that it is pretty open.
In the 800 it is even more wide open as there are no returners.  I can't even pretend to know who will contend here, so I won't even try.
In the 1600 it is wide open again.  Look for Bruney, Jones, and Andrea Zeno of St. John Central to contend and after that it is pretty open again.  lara Beechey of Belin HIland is the top returner with a 5:24 and an 11th place state finish last season.
In the 3200 Beechy is the top returner again in 11:53 with WEllesville's Lindsey Mackall in 12:05 the next highest returning runner.  Once again, Bruney, Jones and Zeno should contend here as well.
This is obviously the shortest review, but with Barnesville in div.II and the wierd regional set up, plus, I have a really hard time getting information out of the southeast part of the state.  This is the best I could do.
