Alex Denisof originates from a mixed background, with an immigrant Russian for a father and a Phildelphia-born mother. His childhood was spent living with his mother in Seattle and then a boarding school in New Hampshire. His passion for Europe took him to England where he enroled into the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.
It was fifteen years before Alex returned to the U.S. to pursue his acting career, and started with a Fox pilot "Ghost Cop". Unfortunate, at the time, that It was not taken up by the network. His other notable television roles include "Noah's Ark" and "Highlander", before he got the role as Wesley on Buffy. He has just finished working on a film with his Buffy co-star and current girlfriend, Alyson Hannigan entitled
"Beyond City Limits" (2001).
