J. August Richards was born on 28th August 1973 as Jaime Augusto Richards III, and grew up in Maryland. Jaime enrolled into a high school that specialized in performing arts, thus discovered his passion for acting early on. He moved to L.A. and enrolled into the University of Southern California and also gained various grants and scholarships for theatre studies.
Jaime has appeared in some high profile shows prior to Angel, these include "The Practice" and "Chicago Hope", and also some movies, "Why Do Fools Fall in Love", "Good Burger" and "Space". Jaime made his first appearance on Angel as an unknown vampire slayer in the episode "War Zone", and became a regular on the show from the start of season two. |
