Minimum/General Experience: Minimum 10 years practice and/or experience and demonstrated ability pertaining to discipline.

Functional Responsibility:

• Acts as a lead in defining and executing systems engineering activities within a project. These activities may consist of systems planning, performance management, capacity planning, testing and validation, benchmarking, information engineering, and development and staffing of a system’s engineering management plan.
• Performs systems engineering planning, performance management, capacity planning, testing and validation, benchmarking, information engineering. Development and staffing of a system’s engineering management plan.
• Applies software, hardware and standard information technology skills in the analysis, specification, development, integration and acquisition of systems for information management applications.
• Ensures systems and applications are compliant with standards for open system architectures and reference models.
• Responsible for the development, operation and maintenance of information technology systems.
• Performs systems analysis and troubleshooting, of IT systems. Recommends solutions and implements fixes.

Experience: 10 + years applicable experience.

Minimum Education: BS in Computer Science or related curriculum; MS preferred. Experience may be substituted depending upon the extent related to program.
