Minimum/General Experience: Three to five years experience in composing and producing technical documentation. Specialized training or education may be substituted for experience. If function is military related, must be qualified in military operations with experience in an active theater of operations desirable.
Functional Responsibility:
- Composes and finalizes technical documentation including specifications, user manuals, etc. in the style, content and format required by the relevant standards using inputs received from technical personnel
- Frequently prepares documents, presentations, and publications with assistance from senior production personnel.
- Recommends improvements in methods and procedures conducive to a more efficient and cost effective operation and working environment.
Experience: 3 to 5 years applicable experience.
Minimum Education: Non-degreed; combination of education, or equivalent professional experience. Military service may be desirable depending upon administrative function.
