Established in 1984, by National Educational & Charitable Trust, run by Kalvithandai K.Ramasamy. This is a co-educational institution approved by Government of Tamil Nadu, All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. It is spread over 180 acres of sylvan surroundings agains a back drop of hills. The college is located at a distance of 6 kms from Kovilpatti on NH7.

The management Encourages many clubs, activities and services inside the college. To name some - ISTE, Junior Jaycee, Rotaract, NSS. Apart from these organisations, each department has its own Association. They aid in improving the technical knowledge, leadership and a sense of oneness among the students. Many programs, technical workshops, symposium, etc., are conducted periodically by these organizations.
