The Stripe-winged Baskettail is a medium-sized brown species with yellow side stripes on the abdomen. Despite the name, all males and most females lack wing stripes, having instead clear wings. The abdomen is constricted at segment 3, and the appendages are long. It is very similar to the Common Baskettail, which has a thicker abdomen. It perches along the edges of forests and patrols a large area over water. |
