Application Guidelines for applications submitted to the North Central Regional Storyteller
As the office of the RST is currently taking applications for several different positions, we thought it would be prudent of us to provide everyone with a brief set of guidelines to help them in writing their applications. The Camarilla's Application Procedure can also be referenced in the Tome.
Please keep in mind that these are merely suggestions and are by no means the only format or content that can be utilized in submitting an application.
Applications should be emailed to <[email protected]> for review.
Demographics
This should include your name
Camarilla number and chapter
Address
Your phone number
Your e-mail address.
Experience
This should include prior relevant experience in or outside of the Camarilla. Examples are Storytelling or Coordinator experience to include positions held and the approximate dates of each. You may also want to include an �real world� experiences/classes/jobs which you feel have provided you with useful experience or which might be indicative of your ability to do the job for which you are applying.
"Vision Statement"
You may want to provide a statement of how you perceive the job you are applying for � what duties it will entail and how it operates within the framework of the region as a whole. If you are applying for a position within a particular venue you might want to include a statement regarding your perception of the venue as a whole.
Goals
This should include both short and long term goals. It is best to state specific goals and also provide your plans for accomplishing them.
Statement of Availability
This should include a statement regarding how much time you are willing and able to spend doing the job for which you are applying. You may also want to make a statement regarding the reliability of your e-mail access and your accessibility to others in the region, both players and other storytellers.
References
This would include the names and contact information for those who can provide references regarding your job performance and/or reliability and dedication.
