 Webquest- Moving Day: An Alternative Earth  a 6th grade activity exploring the solar system and the conservation of Earth's natural resources. 

Context: This Webquest was created as part of a group assignment in a literacy and technology class in the spring of 2002. 

Impact:   This activity will serve as a supplement lesson when studying a science unit on the solar system.  Not only will this activity serve as a supplement to instruction on the solar system, but it will also allow students to work on computer/internet proficiency.

Alignment: This webquest aligns with the following NETS standards:
IVa.: apply technology in assessing student learning of subject matter using a variety of assessment techniques.
IVc.:  apply multiple methods of evaluation to determine students' appropriate use of technology resources for learning, communication, and productivity.
