The farming community living in this rainfed farming zone suffers from resource poverty. At the same time, they have an abundance of bio-mass and cattle-waste. It is noteworthy that they have never used cattle-waste in the cultivation process. 73 marginal farmers have been motivated by us to adopt composting and discontinue chemical based agricultural practices. This has gained widespread visibility.

We are also experimenting with some age-old traditional practices which have been long ignored.
