No health worker ever visits these remote Jungle villages. Communities are exploited by unscrupulous  middlemen in name of medical treatment. Since no family here ever gets two full meals a day, round the year, life expectancy is low and malnourishment-diseases along with epidemics like Cholera only make life more difficult for these tribals.

To overcome this pathetic situation, attempts are being made by NCDC :

Herbal-Wealth survey has been done with an aim to exploiting these resources for the betterment of the local tribals.

Development of a Herbal package for Mother & Child Healthcare under progress

Cultivating herbs for income generation is being initiated

Personal and Environmental sanitation-sensitization has been initiated for an attitudinal and practical change amongst the local community.
