Who We Are
NCCU is an initiative of people of faith as well as non-church members who envision North County as a vibrantly diverse area, where residents, schools, and businesses can flourish in an environment of dignity, justice, and racial harmony. This growing fellowship is committed to the realization of that vision. We are:

•Discovering the blessing and the hope of true community by coming together to plan, learn, and appreciate each other.

•Providing activities that bring people of different races together to share common experiences.

•Helping the different races overcome their fear and misunderstanding of each other.

Our Vision
North St. Louis County will be a vibrantly diverse and inclusive community, flourishing in an environment of dignity, justice and racial harmony.
Our Mission Statement
NCCU is a faith based multi-racial initiative addressing the moral, ethical, and theological issues arising from the evils of racism. This includes addressing the personal, social, economic, institutional and public expressions of racism within our community.
Our Guiding Principles

•God's love is universal -- there are no exceptions.

•God loves each person unconditionally, and calls us to do the same.

•God call us to embrace people of all colors, races and ethnic backgrounds.

•Racism is harmful to individuals, destructive to communities, and is in opposition to God's will.

•We manifest our faith by living and working in harmony and community.

Our Goals

•To unite churches of North County in addressing the evils of racism.

•To educate ourselves, our congregations, and the wider community about the destructive implications of racism.

•To expose and confront racist perceptions, policies, practices and structures in our community.

•To celebrate the blessing of our diversity as children of God.

•To promote community-wide activities that affirm racial and ethnic diversity.
