 Getting to Know Us  Reflections by Our Members
 Covenant and Churches

Olga Smith holds the Covenant signed by members of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.

THIS IS OUR COVENANT WITH YOU ALMIGHTY GOD

The churches listed below have signed our covenant. Other churches will be added as they sign on.

As people of faith we covenant with each other and with each church

•To become better informed about people of other races and cultures that we may overcome the fears and misconceptions that exist;

•To consider how issues of racial prejudice and privilege affect each person we come in contact with;

•To work to overcome the structures of our communities which are racist;

•To work to erase the sins of racism and injustice wherever they exist in our communities and

•To prayerfully heed Your call to embrace people of all colors, faiths, economic and social backgrounds as our brothers and sisters.
