Industry Canada has given the word "Technology" many meanings for the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation especially where the CAP site is located at the New Credit Public Library. A few handful of aboriginal people were utilizing the library facility but once the library incorporated the use of computers and going online, we had people waiting in line for the doors to open. Our customer/client being served has boomed from 4 a month to over 400 a month. This has opened the door for many opportunities in the area of economics, recreational, educational, socially, and culturally. |
