SERVICE RECORD:

Graduated from Starfleet academy in 2358 as salutorian of his class. Was immediately assigned to the USS Princeton and served there as a simple medical officer until he was eventually promoted to the CMO of the vessel. Left the ship in 2365 and transferred to the USS Adelphi again as the Chief medical officer. Served there for a period of one year until Wolf 359 in 2366. Managed to escape however his wife and daughter did not survive. Stayed on Earth and was stationed at Starfleet medical as a doctor. Was offered a position to become a lecturer and teach medical cadets at Starfleet medical and accepted the offer. Is currently still officially posted there yet is now looking for new opportunities aboard a starship. 


Bio:

Widowed, Dmitri's wife and daughter died at Wolf 359 leaving him an emotional wreck, he has only just started to come to terms with their deaths. Often he can come across as cold and uncaring, however the opposite is often true. He is afraid of opening himself and allowing himself to become hurt again like he once and still is. He was serving on the USS Adelphi during wolf 359. The ship was destroyed but he managed to escape in a escape pod and make it back to Earth. However the pod with his wife and daughter was in got caught in the phaser fire between a Borg and federation vessel and exploded before his very eyes. He attends counseling sessions to this very day to help him cope with life without his beloved wife and daughter. He does not enjoy being in social situations and prefers to spend his time alone and isolated. He enjoys to read mystery novels and listen to music. His preferred musical tastes being Opera and Jazz. Before he became reclusive he used to enjoy playing the piano, but he has not played for many years now. He is completely dedicated to his job and lives his life to save others. He knows how it feels to be separated from those you love and does not wish that fate on anyone.
