Physical Description: At five foot nine inches, Zee is is about average height, and lean as most dragonriders are, but he is stockily built, longer in the torso than in the limbs and very toned, without being overbuilt. His hair is dark chestnut brown, with sun lightened streaks in the summer. His face is sqareish and ruggedly handsome though lined and weathered. His eyes are pale brown, almost honey-colored and crinkled at the corners. He doesn't seem to care much what he wears, though wherhide seems to be an important compnent. The only jewelry he wears is what looks like a young dragon's fang on a leather cord, but he doesn't talk about it.

Personality:Z'beri has a reputation for being a stern and honorable kind of man. He never stints in his duty and the only sense of humor he displays is a sort of dry jaded sarcasm. He's not easily taken in by tricks and doesn''t listen to excuses. He's not the sort of man that shows his feelings in public or encourages others to do so. He always acts the tough guy. He's smart and he's strict with himself and with his weyrlings, but not unreasonably so. He tries to be as fair as possible, without tolerating shirkers. he is a good listeners to problems and on some topics he gives very good advice. But don't ask him what to say to women, because he hardly knows himself. He finds it extremely difficult to unwind totally, even in front of friends. He doesn't like to be idle and is popularly believed to have never taken a day off, which is untrue. One thing he does not tolerate is the abuse of the weak by the strong, and he will always do whatever he can to prevent it.

Hobbies:although most would assume none, Zee is actually a pretty good sketch artist

History: Zubari was the first child born to a dragonrider and his non rider weyrmate. Z'can and bisari were unusual in the length and stability of their relationship and they were also unusual in the active role they took in all their children's lives. Zee had a therefore very happy chilldhood, and oerhaps he was a little spoiled. He was always a bright and curious child, known both as a daredvil and an incorrigible prankster. And his partner in crime was always Kayode, another weyrbrat just a year younger. They both got into a lot of trouble during their candidacies and everyone was sure the two would not even be allowed to Stand. But they always managed to be at the hatchings and on Zee's fourth try and Kay's second, they both Impressed lively and intelligent blues. Though they were devoted to their lifemates, they weren't serious about much of anything else and they did more punishment duty than anyone else. As the older one, Z'beri always felt like it was his duty to hold K'ode back, especially as he began to see, through stern lessons from his father, that the discipline was important. But it was all for naught. K'ode never learned to take anything seriously and during their very first fall, he was struck full in the face with a clump of Thread when he came /between/ out of formation. He died instantly.

Z'beri was never the same. He blamed everyone for the tragedy, the weyrlingmaster especially for even letting K'ode fly Fall, though everyone knew he was irresponsible and himself most of all, for not making K'ode see. The once playful boy vanished altogether, replaced by a young man almost obsessed with training and discipline. He was determined that this would never happened again so he worked tirelessly until he he was appointed as the assistant weyrling master, though they tought him young for the job. But he proved to be very good at it. He devoted almost all his being to the weyrlings, not having any close friendships or serious amorous relationships of any kind. But the weyrlingmaster was young too, and not likely to give up his post any time soon. Z'beri wanted full control of the training of youngsters, so that he could be sure that none would be lost. He finally decided to look for a post at another weyr and when he heard that northern barrier weyr, which was nearby, was needing a weyrlingmaster, he jumped at the chance.

Physical Description: Destath is a medium sized blue, built stockily like his rider. He has a short neck and limbs but his tail is long and whippy. His hide is an intense medium- light blue, almost like conrflowers, but with royal blue spangles randomly splahed on his body. His has a short, rather snout-like muzzle.
Personality: Destath is everything his rider is not. He is cheerful and easygoing, almost to the point of laziness. He's not that talkative to people, but he will occasionaly speak to candidates and he likes to talk to other dragons, especially young ones. He is the perfect foil for his rider as Destath is always gentle and forgiving of the young dragonets. The blue is extremelly loyal and brave as most dragons are, but Destath seems especially good at encouraging others to bravery as well.
